Trip was great with one exception: I was looking forward to the hot tub (having knee problems) and it was out of order and we were not told until we went to get in and found it taped off.

The staff was very helpful when we needed to get tv connected. We stayed two nights and the room was not cleaned up or provided with clean towels. Also the night stand bulb went out and had to request it twice.

Overall great experience, friendly staff, clean hotel, convenient grab-and-go breakfast. The card keys weren't working initially, so we had to have someone let us in our room everytime we stepped out. That was fixed within a couple of hours. We had a room on the 1st floor and can hear footsteps and floor creaking from upstairs... maybe better to get a room upstairs.

Staff was amazing. Only bad side was no elevator in the back building of the hotel. Luckily, there was only two floors. Large clean rooms with a nice balcony.

Room was nice. Had earwigs in the bathroom. Bathtub stopper missing. Lobby was big but empty the breakfast had these strange chairs with what looked like gold anodized beer kegs so limited seating and only enough room on those stupid little barrels for on cup of coffee. Also no elevator so access to second floor is not available for fiscally challenged. Outside was well lit but there were large numbers of homeless at back of property between parking lot fence and freeway.

Great hotel. Staff is very friendly. The grounds are lovely. The pool is very nice. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and have microwaves and mini frige. Reccomend staying in a King room on the first floor. Wi-fi is good and there are several USB charging slots located throughout the room.

Super clean & nice , coming from LA to stay an over night trip , I was worried about my truck mainly & they gave me the reinsurance that it will be safe. Room was supper nice & clean! , felt like luxury & bed supper comfortable!!

We came to Bakersfield for a concert at Mechanics Bank and we needed somewhere to stay overnight. Check-in was quick and easy, getting an Uber was no problem, and the night was peaceful. Staff was also friendly and courteous!! Definitely would stay here again!!

Staff was really nice until checkout. They entered our room around 10 am when check out is at 11 am. Although apologetic, very awkward. It wasn't even for housekeeping. The front desk staff was rude during check out. But the check in process at night was easy and the guy was very nice. So it depends on who you get. They were painting and doing maintenance in front of our room during our stay which wasn't too bothersome but I can see it can be. They start at 8-9am and are very loud. But we were awake luckily beforehand. Lots of nicks on walls and water damage on the ceiling. But the pool was nice and breakfast was nice as well. Grab and go breakfast rather than a continental. Room was very spacious.

This was a wonderful place the only problem was that they decide to have workers working very early in the morning… we were made to wake up earlier than had planned to because of cleaning, grass cutting and leaf blowing in the morning. I don’t think these need to happen so early. Of course this all helps in the wonderful up keeping of the hotel - and it is indeed well kept, but management should consider having these happen after lunch as some people staying in the hotel are travelling and would like the opportunity to actually rest and not be forced awake by 8am

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel. Has a nice swimming pool with lots of sun chairs and cabana-like shade. The breakfast is a grab and go. No dining area. But there’s a good selection of hot and cold items. Pleasantly surprised with this place.

Plenty of parking, quiet and secure. Sheets were a bit stiff but I'm a snob about that kind of thing. I slept well, regardless. The continental breakfast is a continental breakfast! It's fine. Plenty of Danish, fruit, juice and coffee. The water dispenser was a plus as well. One thing that stood out to me was the professionalism of the staff. It was bordering, dare I say, warmth? Everyone I passed acknowledged me and greeted me with a, "Good morning" salutation. It may be a small thing but it matters, and I appreciate it. I look forward to staying here on future trips to Bakersfield and have no problem recommending.

Booked ADA room with Expedia. Wasn't placed in one by hotel. Had to insist and show Expedia booking. Given room far away from entrance and handicap parking. Safety locking bolt on door doesn't work well. Surface of room floor uneven near heating/ac unit. Will not stay in this property again due to large deposit charge to my credit card.

Room next to freeway, horrible for a light sleeper
We are a family of 3 and stayed for one night for a Cheer competition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed to call for help for the TV. It is a new program where you have to cast a streaming service from your phone. It wouldn’t connect to our phones and was a slight inconvenience, but not life changing. The room its self was refurbished and looked new. The bathroom was also refurbished and shower head put out enough water pressure. Only complaint about the bathroom is I noticed in the corners of the countertop and floors, it was dirty. Maybe a rushed cleaning job? But that little bit of detail especially in a bathroom can go a long way for the customer who is staying. Beds were average comfort with pillows that were the size of a small square throw pillow. (Not exaggerating!) If you’re a light sleeper ask to have a room closer to the front of the hotel. I got next to no sleep because my room was up against the freeway and I heard every car pass by. Overall the hotel and room was fine for the one night stay, you can see all the remodeling the hotel is doing to make it a more desirable property.

The room was clean and up to date with a fridge and microwave. The was no coffer maker in the room, (big deal). Also the so called breakfast is nothing more that old orange and bearclaw that you purchase at 711. Don't advertise breakfast if you are not going to supply it and if I have to walk to the lobby to get my coffee in my PJ's is not going to cut it. I will never stay there again no matter how nice it was.
