Classic domestic hotel: looks good from a distance but rooms too hot and too dry, no way to control heating, fixtures and fittings falling apart, horrible smells coming from the plumbing, poor cleanliness, offensively bad coffee etc. Honestly, I suspect it’s no better or worse than the neighbouring hotels, just giving an honest review from a European perspective. Staff were very friendly though, and it’s very close to the ski area. We arrived on 6/11, were told Westin was closed and were asked to stay at cheaper Sheraton next door with the payment we already made to Westin. Everybody in town seemed to know Westin was closed. However, nobody from Westin or Hotel,Com contacted us about this.
