"We had an amazing 5 days. This trip involved 4 generations of my family. We came to Machias to go to my grandson’s high school graduation. Six of us came from Florida and the others were from Maine. The house was a perfect size for our family. We spent a majority of the time out on the deck. The weather was gorgeous for us. We were even given the opportunity to witness the wonderful wildlife in the area. We had two moose wander through the yard on one occasion. Then we had two deer come through twice. This was amazing. My youngest grandson who is 6 was able to wade in the lake and chase after bullfrogs. They did a little fishing and some kayaking as well. The kids took advantage to the trials and rented a side by side. This was an amazing property to enjoy the outdoors. The owners were available for any issues. The house was ready earlier than we were expecting. So all you need to do is pack up some groceries and you’re ready to enjoy the outdoors. We are already looking at planning our next trip in 2025. This trip will be a little longer. Thank you so much Lucus and Evonn for renting out such a beautiful property."

"After a very stressful 4-5 weeks in our regular life, a week of peaceful days and quiet nights couldn’t have been more appreciated. Weather beautiful, a little windy for fly fishing but our guide on the lakes made it work. Fishing right off the dock early mornings and late evenings with spectacular sunsets right in front of us. Explored and found new areas to fish, hoping to be back soon."

"This well appointed, cute, charming cottage was the perfect location for Daisy (my dog) and me. We enjoyed the quiet street and the proximity to Water street and the docks. This was absolutely the perfect location for our week in Eastport!"

"A lovely property with a homey feel and an amazing view. It was well stocked with everything we needed to cook family meals even a large pot for lobster boils. We appreciated it was only 3 steps to get in the house with bathroom grab bars for toilets and showers. There are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs but for family members with limited mobility, all the common areas are on the ground floor with just one small step down to get on the deck. We will definitely stay there again."

"We had a beautiful week in Lubec. House had everything we needed, and more. Spent our first few days relaxing and listening to music, great CD collection. Bed was comfortable and it was great to wake up and have coffee and look out over the water."
