My friends, pup Lucy, and I had a wonderful stay at this mountain home! My dog and I loved the fenced-in backyard that was connected to the deck. My friends and I were able to spread out while we worked during the week. The home had everything we needed for at-home meals and was a short drive to Bailey (we recommend checking out Aspen Peak Cellars!).
Love this house! The layout and amenities were fantastic. We really loved the deck and grill. I would love to give 5 stars, but we did not like being so close to a highway; there was a lot of traffic noise. Also wish there had been an awning or something over the deck, it was very rainy during our stay and with no cover of any sort we could not enjoy the deck as much as we would have liked. However, we would absolutely stay here again.
Such a beautiful home and great accommodations for our kids and grandkids to join us as we attended a wedding locally. Thanks for being flexible with us on the times and just being so responsive.
We loved the house. It was beautifully appointed and so clean! The game room is so nice with many fun things to do. We were able to bring our dogs and just enjoy the incredible space. The views are incredible and we will definitely rent again when we need to get away from the city and the stress of careers. Megan was very responsive and helpful. 5 stars definitely!
We were in the Denver area for a baby shower and wanted to stay closer to the mountains. Very nice place. Loved the gas fire in the evening. Host was very responsive to questions. Driveway does require a vehicle that does not sit close to the ground, as stated in the property description.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house. All three kids loved everything about it, especially being in the mountains so they could roll around in the snow.
Any time I needed to contact the host she replied almost immediately.
There were just a few things I would do differently. The blanket in the master bedroom is extremely heavy and hot. We sweat every night in our sleep, even with the windows open. We would’ve enjoyed more hangers in the closets for our clothes, but we made do.
I highly recommend this gorgeous property.
We had a great stay at this home, it’s clean, plenty of space for us, dogs enjoyed the back and fenced in area. Showers were nice, great water pressure and super clean. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. Loved the view and plenty of privacy. Only a few things I would recommend for the owners is better cookware. The large non stick pan was flaking, a large stainless steel pan would’ve been ideal. Also it took some getting used to not having window coverings on ground floors, maybe consider some blinds for master bathroom. Lastly, I may have missed this in listing but only bedroom on main floor is master. If you have kids sleeping in separate bedrooms they are downstairs and there is a sliding door and the garage down there as well. Not a deal breaker but this was new for us as a family. Overall this house is amazing and I highly recommend. We went into Staunton state park and did some hiking and the town of Bailey has a few cute locally owned shops. Thank you to the owners for this great place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Perfect location with amazing views! Property is even better than described. We wanted a place with a deck and outdoor seating to enjoy our morning coffee and evening wine with spectacular views, and this property delivered!
Megan and John were very responsive and went above and beyond with making sure you’re informed about the area! My family loved staying here and my girls had so much fun having their own area downstairs. My daughter described the stay at the cabin as peaceful and I couldn’t agree more! I will definitely be staying here in the future and recommend it to anyone who asks for a recommendation on where to stay in the area.
