THE VIEWS ARE WORTH IT! :) Our home is about a mile into the neighborhood from highway 285\. My family loved staying here and my girls had so much fun having their own area downstairs. My daughter described the stay at the cabin as peaceful and I couldn’t agree more! Showers were nice, great water pressure and super clean. The beds were comfy with plenty of pillows. Loved the view and plenty of privacy. Only a few things I would recommend for the owners is better cookware. The large non stick pan was flaking, a large stainless steel pan would’ve been ideal. Also it took some getting used to not having window coverings on ground floors, maybe consider some blinds for master bathroom. Lastly, I may have missed this in listing but only bedroom on main floor is master. If you have kids sleeping in separate bedrooms they are downstairs and there is a sliding door and the garage down there as well. Not a deal breaker but this was new for us as a family. Overall this house is amazing and I highly recommend. We went into Staunton state park and did some hiking and the town of Bailey has a few cute locally owned shops. It was beautifully appointed and so clean! The game room is so nice with many fun things to do. We were able to bring our dogs and just enjoy the incredible space. The views are incredible and we will definitely rent again when we need to get away from the city and the stress of careers. Very nice place. Loved the gas fire in the evening. Host was very responsive to questions. All three kids loved everything about it, especially being in the mountains so they could roll around in the snow. Any time I needed to contact the host she replied almost immediately. There were just a few things I would do differently. The blanket in the master bedroom is extremely heavy and hot. We sweat every night in our sleep, even with the windows open. We would’ve enjoyed more hangers in the closets for our clothes, but we made do. I highly recommend this gorgeous property. ##### Katlyn L.
