Not sure to understand some other reviews that weren’t good, it was clear to me by reading the ad that the beds upstairs and the couch are under the ceiling so obviously grandma might need to stay away from those areas. We were there with 2 young children and a baby. The stairs to the mezzanine are steep for little children, but doable. There is also a large beam above the sofas which my husband kept knocking his head on. Otherwise, it was comfortable and a good location for the week. There are a lot of steps to and from the chalet which are hard work for little legs after a day’s skiing.
