While the decor might be a little outdated, the hotel is very clean, has a bar open night, and a free breakfast with a wide variety of offerings that would put any US hotel to shame! We had a suite which also had a huge balcony, big windows to open for fresh air and plenty of space to move around. The pool was nice. The location is great. Lovely walk into the town centre. There is no air conditioning so had to have to balcony doors open and it was quite noisy. The main issue was the fold down bed was missing 2 slats right in the middle which made it very uncomfortable. Mentioned it to the staff in the morning and didn’t even get an apology - they just noted it down. Good, extensive breakfast. As soon as I get to know that a concert with 5,000 guests (a lot of staying a the hotel) takes place, I'm prepared for a proper bar service after the concerts when the fans drop in. Many of the neighbors are specialty clinics helping people with various illnesses. The quietness and easy pace of the locale is expressed in the hotel as well. The property is well maintained and the personnel is friendly and effective. The breakfast buffet is really good.
