Clean, with beautiful views of the surrounding area, it was within close proximity of the major sites (Oberammergau, Garmisch, Schloss Neuschwanstein, Ettal Abbey, etc.) The owner, who speaks English well, communicated quickly in response to our initial inquiry as well as subsequent questions we had. Beds are comfy and the hot water plentiful and hot. WiFi good. The host was delightful. Met us on arrival and showed us around. Very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend this...

Hotel Hirsch

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely stay. We enjoyed the restaurant, bar, breakfast and rooftop. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was all very friendly and helpful."

Wittelsbacher Hof Swiss Quality Hotel

8/10 Good

"The room was very clean and had a good amount of space. One of the main reasons I chose here was because one of the amenities listed is that they have “Laundry Service”. I requested an iron to iron my clothes because I was just going to do it myself and was told no. The next morning I went back and asked if they had laundry service…again, no. People traveling for work look for these amenities and expect that they will be able to look presentable after having their clothing packed for days on end. So this was a major inconvenience. However, the property itself was very nice. I personally wouldn’t stay here again for that reason but that may not be important to others"
