Bad Dürrheim-Sunthausen sits on the Baar plateau between the southern Black Forest and Swabian Alb, near the sources of both the Danube and Neckar rivers. The town holds three prestigious designations as a Sole Heilbad, Kneippkurort, and state-recognized Heilklimatischer Kurort. Since 1883, the town's own brine has been used for therapeutic baths, and the Solemar offers relaxation with its bathing and sauna facilities.
