Family run guesthouse with laundry service and assistance booking local tours and transportation. I have stayed here several times and look forward to my next visit. They also offer showers for non guests for only 50 baht if you want to clean up before your onward travel. I sent three emails starting a few days before i arrived, informing the hotel i was arriving and could i drop off my bags. No reply to any of my 3 emails. I even went to the hotel and knocked on the door, but no answer - not even the huge dog i could see through the door stirred. Anyway chose a very nice alternative nearby. I finally did get a reply when i email the hotel to say yiu can keep the money - to which i got the simple reply ‘thank you’! Well-run homestay with a hostess who knows how to take care of the guests in the best possible way. Select the room with aircon for best comfort. Believe me, you don't want to go for the fan-only room in this lovely establishment. You want to go to full mile and have it all. The breakfast is hearty and prepared with utmost dedication. The location is superb for backpackers waiting for their next train to Chiang Mai, or wherever they are destined to go. The Wifi was surprisingly leopard-like fast in an old Thai style house like this. The shared bathroom is not an issue if you don't have a bad stomach and the parking space are plentiful if you are willing to walk the extra steps. Vi havde bestilt et værelse med eget bad. Sengen var godt nok lidt hård, men det gik. Det allerbedste var restauranten. Den lå lige ud til en flod og det var så afslappende at sidde der i skyggen med en let brise og super lækker mad. Ville gerne være blevet længere. Personalet var søde og sørgede for, at man følte sig hjemme. Kommer gerne igen. Lige ved siden af hotellet går der en båd over til den anden side, hvor templerne ligger.
