Daviot House is a lovely guest house in a fantastic location close to the beach and Ayr town centre. We had a great sea view and enjoyed some colourful sunsets over the sea! The room was very clean and peaceful, with a gorgeous comfy bed! The owner Linda was an amazing and very attentive host who made sure everything was perfect for us and cooked us some very nice breakfasts! While in Ayr, we enjoyed a lovely walk along the very long beach, and a fantastic day out at Culzean Castle. Stayed in the converted garage in back yard. It was lovely and spacious. Own shower etc...no complaints what so ever. Linda and Richard had a dog 'bo'..They advised us we could take our dog next time with us. You tick a menu what you want for breakfast next day...I had ham/mushroom omlette and my husband had full fry up...breakfast was great. All in all, we would defo recommend this hotel to stay in. Very close to centre shops and restaurants and very close to beach! The hosts and the rooms are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is to die for and the rooms have everything, we stayed in room 4 with large bathroom with shower and bath, plus superb room.
