It is a super cozy and unique design gem at the heart of the Eastern Townships: 20mn from Orford ski trails, 5 min from Massawippi Lake, 15 min from Magog, 20 min from USA, 1h30 from Montreal, perfectly set up to enjoy the quaint town of Ayer's Cliff and to explore the region. If you are working remotely and are dying for a change of scenery, we get it! You will find what you crave here. We are also bike friendly!

Le Wood Loft is one of our two charming homes in Ayer's Barn (see our listing for the Grey Rabbit House). It is small (550 square feet) but fully functioning and is filled with light. It is the perfect getaway!

The home is at the center of the Ayer’s Cliff Village and the main street is about 40 feet away. It is within walking distance to many amenities, grocery store, farmer’s market in the summer, butcher shop, SAQ, coffee and restaurants. Although you might sometimes hear a big heavy truck passing by during the day and feel a slight vibration to the home, it is usually quiet after dark.

There are attractions nearby all year round for solo travellers, outdoor enthusiasts, families, friends and couples: Massawippi Lake, Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook, Foresta Lumina, Mont Orford National Park, Magog, Tomifobia Nature Trail and so much more! Or if you are just looking for a relaxing day, spend some time at Ayer’s Cliff’s lake shore or at the Spa Nordic Station.

Great stay in Ayer's Cliff
Very adorable and clean place located right in town. On the main road, but set back so the traffic wasn't too loud. Conveniently located near the center of town, well-stocked store within walking distance. The place had everything we needed and the bed was comfy. There was an issue with the Wi-Fi, which turned out to be a widespread issue that the owners were very responsive and communicative about. We enjoyed the stay and would definitely come back!

Cozy loft in Ayer's Cliff
Lovely, quiet, private and well appointed! Everything needed for a weekend escape from the city. The fire pit was the reason we chose it, but it provided both indoor and outdoor enjoyment! Plenty of books, TV with all the streaming, places to eat and enjoy a game of cards, cozy bed loft, well thought out kitchen equipment and tools... and attentive and helpful hosts. Perfect place to rest and recharge!

Lovely stay!
Had a lovely stay! Home was adorable, clean, and cozy. Host was very responsive and helpful! Slept great in the loft - you do need to use a ladder but it’s sturdy and we could sit up in the loft area comfortably. Would certainly recommend!

Great little tiny home
I stayed 8 nights and it was well situated close to so many attractions, groceries, restaurants, cafe and 20 minutes from other cute villages. The home was cozy and had everything I needed and more. Guillaume was responsive and thoughtful. I wish that the beach were truly accessible by foot but I think for safety reasons it would not have been a good idea to walk it… a truly perfect stay !

Lovely place with impractical bed
It was a pleasure communicating with Guillaume. The space is as cute as the photos. It is very comfortable for 2 people. However the bed in the loft is an issue. There are no railings and it is impossible for the person on the far side of the ladder to get out without climbing over the other person.

We had a great time in this little cabin. Was very cozy with the fireplace and loft. Had everything you need. Ayer'sCliff is also a very cute city. Would definitely recommend trying it out!
