Always Included, complimentary linens and made beds! Good times never seemed so good at Sweet Caroline! This Avon oceanfront home features easy beach access, community pool and tennis access, private hot tub and more. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and a new deck built in 2022, this well-equipped beach home is located in Kinnakeet Shores. Sweet Caroline is also located near local staples like Food Lion, Ace Hardware, Nino's Pizza, Bros Sandwich Shack, and more! Cast out a line at Avon Fishing Pier or take a quick trip down to Buxton to climb the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse! Vacation is at its best at Sweet Caroline.

Relax and unwind in the hot tub or deck chairs while looking out at the ocean views. Enjoy some fun in the sun at the beach, rinse off in the private outdoor showers, then easily retreat to your covered deck. Upstairs, gather everyone in the dining and sitting areas. Kitchen bar and dining room table seating means mealtimes can be spent together and memories will be made! The open living area is stocked with board games, toys, and Roku TVs so everyone can relax and unwind after a full day of Outer Banks adventure. Enjoy watching movies/sports, cooking on the large BBQ grill, and the Primo 3-5 gal water dispenser. Guests staying at Sweet Caroline receive a free unlimited access pass to the Kinnakeet Shores 25m Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool, and tennis courts located across the street at the nearby Sound-side Kinnakeet Shores subdivision. (Pool access is seasonal, Mid May to Mid September, weather pending.)

Awesome location right on tbe beach. Beautiful home with a well stocked kitchen. Internet was good for 7 people. The only problem really was the cleanliness. The floors had not been cleaned. There were blocks under the couchs. You could see dust and sand under all the beds, furniture, and on the floors. The upstairs master shower had mold in from not being cleaned properly. There was a very musty smell when we 1st walked in the home. We didn't receive a text stating it was ready until we finally just went over and then received a text after the fact once we signed into the internet. With proper cleaning I would definitely want to rent again.

House needs some TLC

On the beach which was great. However, there appeared to be a lot of mold in the house. Definitely needs some updating and cleaning. All of the air vents were very filthy.

Sweet Caroline

We had a great stay. The house had fabulous views of the ocean and state pier. Some of the outdoor furniture was old and in need of replacement. There was toilet paper only for a few days, would have been nice not to have to run out to buy more. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The hot tub was easy to use but had sand in it from a previous renter. Overall, I would rent this house again as it was really spectacular and the beach… amazing!!

Overall Good

The property is overall good. We would not stay here again unless we knew there were updates or a thorough clean. It needs a good deep cleaning very badly. Walls and baseboards were dirty and even some pillows had stains. There was trash left under beds and behind/under nightstands. The bathrooms and kitchen was clean which was important to us. They provided sealed sheets and we had to put the sheets on the beds ourselves. Even though the sheets were sealed, they were stained and hairs were found in some places. We really did enjoy the house though and like I said it was overall good but definitely needs a deep cleaning. The decks were amazing! The location was wonderful! It was very roomy for our large family. The childrens nook was adorable. The beds were comfy but the comforters were very old. I would bring my own pillows and blankets. We actually washed the comforters when we got there so we did use them. We enjoyed our trip!

Great pandemic getaway

We wanted a family vacation where we could stay at safe distance from people & this was it! Plenty of room on the beach to social distance neighbors. We were a party of 10 and the house had plenty of room for all of us and you didn’t feel crowded. Beach access right next to our house. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean and kept up. Bring your own Beach towels, kitchen towels and a cutting board there were none. We rented chairs and umbrellas and they were delivered and picked up which was nice. Restaurants were close by to pick up carry out and we cooked a couple of nights. The house is far enough south that you avoid the crowds of Nags Head. I highly recommend a visit.
