They have a breath taking view of the Muralla de Ávila. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It is far from the main areas where the shops and restaurants are at so make sure you have comfortable walking shoes. S

Five Stars for Cuatro Postes
We booked the family suite and it was perfect for the four of us. The rooms were unexpectedly spacious with a nice sliding door to easily separate the rooms. Both rooms were very clean, the beds were really comfortable and there was an amazing view of the city walls. The hotel’s location was very convenient for both a visit to the city wall and a nearby gas station. The on-site cafeteria was good and it was nice to be able eat there after a long day. We would definitely stay here again.

Not a 4 star hotel, more like a 1 star
Hotel has carpet in the rooms and it’s not very clean. Shower drain was clogged and it was a total mess. My sheets were stain with blood, and the AC wasn’t working (86F weather) I will definitely not stay in this hotel. I’ll say it is a 1 star not 4 like it is classified

Great stop with stunning views of Avila
This was a two night stopover on our way back to the UK. The hotel was easy to find and there was plenty of free parking outside and it was very quiet and safe. The room had a brilliant view of the city walls which are beautiful at night. The whole experience was very safe and the food in the restaurant was excellent. With breakfast you point to what you want (no fried food) and they bring it to the table. If you want more you just ask. It couldn't have been easier given the situation and the staff were lovely It was a 10 minute walk into the old town and I'd recommend a full day to just wander around. Forget a map as it's small enough to work out where you are and there are loads of places to eat or drink. Wi-fi strength was dodgy and I kept getting massages about the need for them to upgrade their security but it worked which was the main thing. With the location of the hotel being ideal I would happily recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to savour the delights of Avila.

Only if you are a driver that needs rest.
This hotel is a one night let's see Avila kind of Hotel. It is a shame they have not upgraded the hotel. The rooms are tired and old, the beds hard and a mile away from each other, the shower blah, blah,blah, the hall tired and old as well. Very nice service a one night hotel just as if you were driving a truck. The location is great you could see the Muralla of Avila and the 4 Postes.

The hotel was pleasant and was only about 20 minutes walk from the entrance to the town The room had a broken shower tray and the handle to shower kept falling off. The Air con didn't work which wouldn't have been a problem except there was wedding going on until 3 am so couldn't leave the window open either. On booking check your options closely on Expedia I was sure I clicked on breakfast included However, when checking out the staff told me it wasn't and presented me with an extra bill not worth the price they charged.

Close to Avila
We have a larger family (5 kids) so we need to get 2 rooms sometimes. We requested adjoining rooms in advance (as the hotel advertised that they had them) but when we arrived we had 2 rooms that were 3 doors down from each other. The staff was friendly, however not over accommodating. We had a handicap room for one room, so it felt spacious. The standard rooms are quite small. They sold them as a triple room, but it was really a double room (2 single beds) with an extra rollaway placed at the foot of those beds. We had also requested a double bed and a single rather than 3 singles, but we were given 3 singles in both rooms. I really didn't ever see more than 2 other guests there, so I don't know why it was hard to accommodate our requests.

only an overnight stop on a long road trip, but the staff were very helpful and the facilities were first class. the hotel is close enough to the walled town to walk in for an evening meal. we will use it again. Oh and it has secure underground parking if you are a biker.

We Were Misled
When I made the reservation, I asked if the hotel was within walking distance of the "Old Town" as I was traveling with two 83 year olds and was told it was within 1-2 blocks. The view of Caceres was amazing from the hotel but certainly not within walking distance at all. On top of that, the free wi-fi was not working and I was told "we didn't receive complaints from anyone else" as a resolution to the problem. TV didn't work either....place is dated and needs some freshening up.....

Well worth the money
Located just outside the walls of Avila our room was excellent and gave us views of the walls themselves...especially impressive at night.Parking was easy and free,very important in a place where cars are heavily restricted.The hotel is no more than a five minute drive from the base of the walls where it is possible to find free parking near a pedestrian gate into Avila.The staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was excellent.We did not eat in the restuarant at night as it was busy with coach parties and there were lots of places to eat in Avila itself.Had some difficulty finding the hotel initially as the SatNav took us into the city itself but we soon found signs directing us out of Avila and to the hotel located as it is about a mile or less from the walls.

We had difficulty finding the hotel but we were relieved when we found the spacious room and the three separate twin beds welcoming. The room rate was reasonnable compared to others hotels.

Beautiful view to the historical city, not only from the rooms, but from the glass walls of the elevator. Very comfortable, clean room. Nice modern wash room and shower. Good internet signal, free internet and free parking.

Marvelous and modern
This super-modern, beautiful hotel is a fabulous find, just outside the ancient walled city of Avila. We had a delicious dinner there at 10:30 at night, and a scrumptious breakfast there in the morning. We highly recommended this great deal!

Prices are high. Staff, a bit surly. Restaurant/bar prices high, staff, a bit surly. I got the impression that this hotel thinks alot more highly of itself than warranted. The room/bathroom were nice, roomy. Shower was horrible -- couldn't control temp and would be likely to be scalded! TV service very limited, old school TV. Front desk staff were not terribly friendly (except one), did not speak English or even French (except one), wrote my credit card number down on a sheet of paper before entering it on their computer and did not understand why I wasn't okay with that. Hotel was expensive for what it was.

Very easy to get to from the Freeway at Exit 112 from Madrid Our Room was absolute de-luxe and than I expected with magnificent views of the walled city of Avila illuminated at night ALSO the sunset on the walls was magnificent The road to Salamanca was just alongside the hotel.....A WONDERFUL STAY

Nice sized room with three beds as advertised. Nice US style free parking in front. Short drive or walk to walls of Avila. Only issue was poor technology. Primitive television that took some jiggering to get to work and no free WIFI.

Very very nice hotel would recommend & be happy to stay again.
A modern hotel with comfortable quiet room and very up to date bathroom - very nice! Lovely glass lift overlooking beautiful Avila city walls. Free parking at front of hotel. We didn't use the restaurant but had a very nice quality breakfast with lots of choices. Were disappointed when we saw the distance from the town itself but it was actually a very pleasant walk of around 15-20mins and because of its location gave a stunning view of Avila.

Hotel muy cercano a la ciudad, desde la habitación se veían las murallas de Ávila y estaban a escasos 5 min en coche del centro. la habitación familiar que nos proporcionaron fue estupenda con dos estancias diferenciadas y un enorme baño completo.

El hotel no está mal, algo alejado del centro de la ciudad, pero se puede ir caminando. No tienes problemas para aparcar el coche. Mejoraría un poco las instalaciones. No le vendría mal un poco de mantenimiento.

Businesshotel mit schönem Blick auf die Stadtmauer von Avila. Geräumige, saubere Zimmer. Lediglich das Doppelbett war für unseren Geschmack zu klein. Vom Fenster aus hatte man einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Stadtmauer von Avila. Leider war das Restaurant für "normale" Gäste geschlossen. Man war wohl mit der Verköstigung von mehreren Busladungen voll ausgelastet. Aber nebenan war ein gut geführtes Restaurant. Das Frühstück am folgenden Morgen war wiederum ausreichend und zufriedenstellend.
