Great stay and great staff!
My stay was really great, I managed to break the tap in my room within the first few minutes but it was fixed really quickly with no issues. The room was comfortable with lovely decor and a nice shower. You could hear some noises from other rooms like running water but that wasn't a big problem for me. The staff were really helpful and said hello whenever I passed them which made me feel welcome. Furthermore the entrance to the Hostal has a key code to get in which makes it feel safer than being able to walk in and out so I was comfortable leaving my possessions in the room but Ávila is a lovely and safe place anyway!!

Cozy and cheap
Nice and friendly staff, comfy room, nice shower and very close to the Plaza Mayor. Found a parking space 2 streets from the hotel. Excellent cost benefit. Totally recommended.

Great staff, very clean place, wonderful location, but the foam mattress (that warms up) combined with the central heater (no individual control in the rooms) makes the room too hot. So,even if the individual heater on the room is 0, the central heater is under the floor, and the room gets too warm. We could not sleep well on both nights we were there. This is such a lovely and clean place, if it was not by the temperature in the room.

Great reception staff, MOLD in rooms
The property is cozy from the outside and the reception area but the rooms are incredibly spacious. The reception staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. They made us feel welcomed and suggested places to eat and see and things to do. Here's the negative... We were given room #12 which was nice. 10-15mins after sitting in the room, I developed a cough and a bad smell filled my nose. I started to look around the room and found a large area of the room's ceiling covered in MOLD. I got my family out and alerted the reception staff. At the same time, the housekeeping employee was present and when I mentioned the mold, she named the room number before I said it. This implied that someone on property (ie. housekeeping) ironically knew of the MOLD in room #12 which was very upsetting. We were moved to room #18 which was even more spacious. Now in room #18, the mold was not visible in the sleeping area but was present in the bathroom. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've come across in Europe and I travel every month. The WIFI did not reach room #18 at all and no mobile signal. Location was great to restaurants and bars just downstairs, the wall, the museum and a brisk 18mins walk from the train station. I would not recommend this place though on account of mold to anyone with any type of respiratory system condition or any healthy person wanting to stay healthy for that matter. It's a shame because the employees were awesome but the property is hazardous.

Not my cup of tea
Wasn't that good. Hostel hasn't got reception service at night time. People from clubs got in at 4am shouting and partying. My room on the top floor had a sloped roof and only 30% of floor area you can stand up. To move in the room you need to bend over all the time. No lifts. Breakfast is poor and expensive for what it is. I am aware this is a hostel but I paid hotel prices. Would I go again? Noooo, there are much better places in Avila than this place. Deco is cool though!

Hermoso lugar para hospedarse en Ávila , a pasos de la plaza mayor , íbamos en auto y estacionamos a 400 metros en zona azul con parquímetro , la gente de la recepción te lo explica , llegamos fuera del horario de la recepción y entramos con códigos, todo perfecto

Me he alojado en este Hostal varias veces y me encanta, es muy acogedor. El personal es muy agradable. Además en esta ocasión le pedí si podría cambiarme de habitación pq nada más entrar tenía un olor muy fuerte a pintura y me cambió sin ningún problema.

el broche de oro para la visita a Ávila
UN SITIO PERFECTO EN MEDIO DEL CENTRO. A PIE A TODO ÁVILA. como es una ciudad pequeña se aparca fuera de la muralla y se anda todo. para dejar las cosas pudimos hacernos con el coche. el personal super amable. Sólo una cosa, al estar en la tercera planta ( sin ascensor ) tuvimos mucho calor por la noche . pero todo correctísimo

Para lo q cuesta es una buena opcion pero sin mas.... las camas pequeñas y la ropa de cama mas pequeñas aun... nos pasamos la noche intentando meter la bajera.... no habia mesitas ni un espejo en la habitacion... Al estar en pleno centro se oia todo ruido... eso es normal pero la gente subiendo y bajando las escaleras a altas horas ... Nosotros solo lo usamos para dormir ya que estuvimos todo el tiempo fuera pero si no no se hubiera podido descansar... Eso si....la atención genial...el chico de recepción encantador....nos recomendo sitios para comer y siempre dispuesto a ayudar... en definitiva es un hostal de paso y para aprovechar el ambiente del centro...

Ese colchón me mata w12
La entrada y salida sin problemas, la habitación bastante silenciosa. De las 3 camas de la habitación w12 la de matrimonio es muy incomoda, terrible el colchón de muelles y el somier.

Chambre super mignonne sous les combles. La chambre pour 4 est grande et séparée en deux parties avec 2 salles de bains. Bonne surprise, il y a un frigo pour mettre l'eau au frais, appréciable avec les chaleurs de l'Espagne

Todo esta bien y aceptable, mejor de lo que esperaba por el precio. El agua caliente del lavamanos sale con demasiada presión que es imposible regularla e usarla. Hace mucho frío en la ciudad y te ves obligado a usar agua fría.

Las fotos engañan, el hotel se cae a pedazos, y se oían hasta los pisos de arriba. Por otro lado, el personal es muy atento, la ubicación es magnífica, y tienen un convenio con un restaurante que es estupendo.
