Due to this space being on the same block of a recycling scrapyard, there is a chance of noise throughout the week. We do our best with the nearby houses to enforce noise violations after hours, but there is nothing that we can do about the early morning noise from the recycling scrapyard. This should be considered if you are a light sleeper, but please keep in mind we provide sound machines, sleeping masks, and ear-plugs. The scrapyard operates within regular weekday working hours. While East Austin is a vibrant and diverse neighborhood, it's important to note that, like many urban areas, there is a visible homeless population. However, it's essential to emphasize that these individuals have never posed a threat to our guests. The neighborhood remains safe and our property prioritizes security measures like locks and security cameras to ensure a comfortable and secure stay. There was a great outdoor space as well. It was in a great location within walking distance to many restaurants, live music and shopping. It looked as pictured and we liked that there were quite a bit of useful things in the kitchen. The area is a bit up and coming and we definitely heard street cleaners and trains going in the early am, but there are a ton of great restaurants and bars just a few blocks north. Edwin & Lucas were very responsive throughout the entire time. Edwin and Lucas made our stay with 10 people very enjoyable! We couldn't find the trundle 10th bed at first, but Edwin replies quickly to our messages. The location was convenient. Pro Tip: there is a small loft in the back which is a separate rental. With a slightly bigger group (i.e. 12 people) it would make sense to rent that small laptop as well. The backyard can also connect (via locked gate) to the backyard of an adjacent identical unit (sleeps 10 people). If you have a VERY big group (20 people) renting both adjacent units would be a great idea. You can probably fit up to 24 people with the two houses, plus each of the two lofts. ##### Josh D. The location however was somewhat accurate. The Target was not directly across the streer like a review had mentioned. It’s about a 3 blocks away. But very close ! The house unfortunately is across from a sheet metal yard. It was kinda noisy in the early morning. The graffiti all over the wall didn’t help make it prettier to look at either. I did like the short walk to the cute Brew and Brew coffee place that sits across from Target. The beds were super comfortable The showers needed soap. Our neighbor next door partied in their yard til 4:30 am. Super mad about that. We had an amazing time with our friends ! the house was super clean super comfortable I would recommend it but just try and look past the sheet metal yard. ##### Jennie M.
