Guests can enjoy a scenic view of Lady Bird Lake and the city beyond while taking a walk along The Boardwalk. The neighborhood is home to many artists and musicians whose influences color the community in classic Austin fashion. Visit hotspots like Buzzmill coffee, The Bazaar or Emo’s, one of the most prominent nightclubs in Austin for chart-topping musicians and performers. Getting Around: We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Rideshare apps such as Uber and Lyft are also great options but expenses can quickly add up as Austin rideshare rates are on the higher end and can surge very high during busy times, such as 2AM on weekends and during large events such as SXSW, conferences, F1, etc. Other Things to Note: ★★★ PRE-STAY GUEST VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED ★★★ To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal, and/or, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. Please be aware. \- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters, especially if they are found dead, does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else. \- For longer term stays over 30 days, guests are required to pay for monthly full-home cleaning services at $90/clean. This requirement cannot be waived and must be paid prior to each monthly cleaning service. \- Guests will be able to park for free in any of the non-covered and/or non-reserved spots around the complex, as long as you hang the parking tag we provide from inside the unit on your rearview mirror when parked. Two (2) parking tags will be provided, so all cars beyond two (2) will need to be registered with the parking vendor's portal for 24-hour guest parking and renew the registrations every 24-hours. Guests will be able to park for free on complex property in non-covered and non-reserved spots. \- Please be aware that the apartment is located close to a popular Austin bar that occasionally plays live music in its outdoor stage, which might result in noise leakage into the apartment whenever there are performances. \- Pets ARE allowed depending on size, please let us know beforehand and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation.
