The Space: Welcome to this charming three-bedroom home in a quiet, friendly neighborhood just 15 minutes from downtown Austin. Thoughtfully updated while preserving its classic character, the home features a bright, open-concept living area with comfortable seating and a large smart TV, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the essentials for preparing meals at home. Each bedroom features cozy bedding and abundant natural light, while the bathroom is stocked with fresh towels and toiletries. For added convenience, the home also includes a washer and dryer. Step outside to a fully fenced backyard with plenty of room to unwind or entertain, offering both privacy and space to enjoy Austin’s sunny weather. Free street parking is available right outside, making it easy to come and go as you please. Please do not tamper with them. \- The City of Austin waste collection is on Tuesday for this property. Please do not place any trash bags into compost or recycling. \- There is a Green Egg Grill available for use in the backyard. We kindly ask guests to bring their own charcoal supplies and extinguish any flames/coals after each use. \- If any furniture is moved, please place it back in the original space where it was found. \- Additional charges (including shipping fees) may apply if personal items are left behind. \- In the event that you need to use the hard key, we kindly request that you place it back in the lockbox before departing. Failure to return any keys used to the lockbox will result in a $50 replacement fee per key. HVAC Rules: Please do not set the home's window units above 76 (heating) or below 68 (cooling). To avoid overloading the system, please adjust the setting by no more than 2 degrees per hour and keep the doors and windows closed as much as possible. If you encounter any issues, don’t hesitate to contact us. As you may know, Texas is home to plenty of bugs, especially during cricket season. You may notice a few more of them around September and they’re completely harmless, though we understand they can be a bit pesky. Rest assured, we take proactive measures to manage them, and it shouldn’t pose a problem during your stay. To help keep them outside, please keep all windows and doors closed, especially in the evenings. If you happen to notice any inside, feel free to use the bug spray provided under the sink. It was a super enjoyable stay and the amenities were quite nice. We did lock ourselves out accidentally, so I would be care of that, but the owner was so fast to come and take care of it. Truly grateful for the response time. Also, if I had any detractor, I would say the back gate to get into the parking area was a little difficult to open and close for my teenager, LOL. since it required a lift and push to open. House appears to be older with DIY upgrades. Window units did a great job of keeping the rooms warm but the main one in the living room wouldn’t work, so we didn’t hangout in the living room. I could tell it had been a few days since they cleaned from the previous stay as there was so many dead moths all over the floor. Main bed was comfortable but the other two were okay.
