While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Please be aware. \- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else. \- For longer term stays over 30 days, guests are required to pay for monthly full-home cleaning services at $95/clean. This requirement cannot be waived and must be paid prior to each monthly cleaning service. \- Registrations for cars are required for on-site parking. Unregistered cars cannot park on community property otherwise they will be towed if parked without approved registrations. If guests want to park in the complex, all cars must be registered PRIOR to 4pm check-in time. To register your vehicles for permits to park within the complex gates, you will need to complete and submit the registration form with your vehicle and contact information and renew every 24-hours. Guest vehicles being towed due to violation of parking policy and registration requirements will be the guest’s responsibility. Took about 45 min.Cleanliness is very important to me when staying at a place. The shower and shower curtains were disguising and some other areas needed better attention to detail. I alerted the host they sent cleaning people out again next morning. They still didn’t wash or replace shower curtain or clean walls of shower. The towels were old and ragged and the rugs needed to be replaced or shampooed. One in living room very stained. I ended up spending a couple hours cleaning it myself because my husband has surgery and I needed it to be very clean to prevent infection.
