The SoCo Penthouse is located right off South Congress, a stone's throw from Austin's best shopping and dining. Sleep on the third floor in a comfy king bed with your own large deck overlooking pecan trees, Austin sunsets, and South Congress vibes. While we are close to all the action, once you walk through the gate into the private front yard, you are in your own little oasis. You likely won't need a car, but if you have one, we offer an off-street parking spot behind our remote controlled gate (it's perfect for "normal" sized cars, but we can't accommodate camper vans or long trucks). As we are next to a lively area, including a boutique, 4 star hotel, you may catch some of the buzz from South Congress, especially on weekends. That said, we're also nestled next to a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, and we’re committed to being great neighbors—so no parties, please. Think relaxed evenings with a glass of wine, not rowdy nights out. You should also know our home has a modern style with tall ceilings and lots of light-filled rooms with high-up windows. Some of the windows don't require or accommodate coverings. While there is ample privacy, you will not have the ability to "black out" rooms. We do have fresh eye masks and earplugs for your use, but if you need full control of the light, this will not be the best place for you. Finally, there are stairs! We technically have 3 stories, so you will need to carry your luggage (and yourself) up the stairs. We think it's worth it to enjoy the "treehouse" vibe, but we completely understand that doesn't work for everyone. Once you arrive, you’ll find there’s no shortage of amazing things to do nearby—we’re happy to tailor recommendations based on your interests. Located close to all services needed including good food and shopping. Excellent proximity to downtown. The place itself was spacious and very clean. Well stocked and appointed. It was easy to enter the unit - no problems. The living space was spacious and comfortable. It was great to have 2 full bathrooms. The decks were also great! When we arrived We loved the property! It was well represented in the listing and was even better in person! Love the location being a half block off of Congress avenue. The unit was full of natural sunlight and very open. Loved the three balconies and other outdoor space. Having private parking with a remote gate was a nice bonus! We plan to return again soon!! Within walking distance to really great restaurant options and shopping. If you walk away from SoCo, there are walking trails — a pretty, quiet way to access the river.
