  • Lake Travis waterfront home with private dock, kayaks, and territorial views of Lake Travis! This lovely country setting home has lots of privacy on about 2 acres with 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enjoy the serene and private home and lounge on the dock or spacious decks. Your family will enjoy fishing, swimming, kayaking, playing games and/or sharing a meal overlooking the lake viewed from the large living room windows and deck. End your day fishing, swimming, kayaking, from the dock and finish with a spectacular sunset from the upper decks. Star gazing at night can also be quite breathtaking.

    Home is located only 20 minutes away from downtown Austin. The waterfront is typically steps away from the property and surrounded by beautiful foliage. Nearby is a boat launch and public park. This is a perfect getaway for families, friends, and adventure seekers!

    Our property has lots of stairs between the driveway(s) and the home. Its perched high upon a hillside overlooking the lake bed, so if you have trouble with stairs, please inquire before booking.

    ** Lake Travis water level update: the lake level fluctuates and is below full capacity. We do have water around the docks as of June 3rd, 2026, but it is somewhat shallow at about 2-3 feet deep. **

    Lakefront home is also available for long term rental, 31+ rentals are provided at a 50% discounted rate.

The location has a nice view. Kitchen includes everything you need. Great communication with owners. Overall the experience was great. Owners allow flexibility in check in and check out if possible. Great experience, will be coming back.

Cozy and beautiful stay with warm hosts

We loved the home and the location! The hosts are so lovely, kind and warm to interact with. Make sure you ask them for things to do around the area. I’d definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone who’s looking for a relaxing house!

Sunset ridge

Had a beautiful time. It was the perfect place for me and the Ms. to reconnect and bond. We watched movies , we watched the sun set on while sitting on the patio, cooked good food, had the best wine and just enjoyed the quite in the hills.

Affordable group accomodations

For the price of just one room at budget hotels, it was awesome to be able to house five adults in a private home with great views and room to relax. Could have handled one more guest. As the owner clearly emphasizes in the description, trying to park up top is not worth it for most vehicles.

Men’s Getaway

Hi we really had a pleasurable time. The accommodations were up to par. The effort to locate your lodge was not unreasonable. This Colorado River was a bit disappointing. We were able to find a public fishing area with some extensive effort. Perhaps next year will bring better water levels to the River.

Lake house?

House is nice and clean. Very strenuous to get to. Tons of steep stairs. Very small shower. Still waiting to use the kayak and go swimming. No lake at all.

Missing the lake

Getting to the property was a little tricky the driveway was narrow and steep, outside property need a little landscape maintenance and the deck is a little outdated, inside was very clean and comfy enough space for the family, bring mosquito repellant they will get you lol. No water at alll lake travis is loosing so much water!! The view's where great , decent price good experience

Beautiful Birthday Celebration!

We celebrated our son’s 50th Birthday. He lives solo in Austin, but no room to celebrate. We live in Kentucky, so we needed to figure out where and how to celebrate with him and his friends. This was the perfect solution! The owner very generously allowed us to invite guests other than just the few of us who were staying overnight, and we had a perfect celebration! Everyone loved the setting, the view, the outdoor decks, and the lovely setting inside. Kids could run off their excess energy outside! Thank you so much to our hosts!

Treehouse

This property needs a lot of work & cleaning. We saw several small nasty roaches & other bugs. We never felt comfortable in the house. The property is older & needs a major overhaul & cleaning, it’s not easily accessible for small children or elderly. It’s not easily accessible from the street. It really doesn’t have a spectacular view it’s not worth the walk! However, the owners were nice & friendly!

We wouldn’t stay again

We were excited for our week at the lake until we realized there are no lake views. The host noted the water was low but we all felt the pics without any water should’ve been the first ones in the posting. 0 out of 3 of us said we’d return to the property for another stay. THE GOOD- cold ac in the house, comfy beds, patio/deck space, view of the fireworks on the 4th, close to The Oasis, Starbucks, Target, and HEB, fresh cold water gallons THE NOT SO GOOD- lots of small rolly pollies in the downstairs bathroom, shower head fell off the wall downstairs, we had to buy our own toilet paper and paper towels because there was only 1 roll of paper towels and really low quality TP, the steep and uneven HIKE up and down to get in the house(not ADA compliant), the pillows, not all rooms have AC(sunroom and upstairs office are hot), minimal/no spices, foil, charcoal, and other kitchen items so we had to buy all of these, no way to Uber or Lyft because the house is too hard to get to so we’d go places in the day and stay in all night, and also not the best communication from host. We messaged him the first night because we couldn’t find some light switches and lighting. He called immediately and said to call for anything any time of day. When we text to ask for paper towels we didn’t get a reply until we checked out and he said he just saw about the paper towels.

We enjoyed the funky lake house. The kitchen was stocked for our needs. Good communication with the host when we needed a few things. Could use a more detailed cleaning, but the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean. Pulled out the hide-a-bed for use, but it wasn't clean, so we didn't use it. Nice view and good location for our trip.

House was unsafe for us we did not stay the steps and railings were unsafe. The house had a musty smell. We had small children, and it was two unsafe to stay. Vrbo has not taken care of the problem. The property owner tried to immediately give us another location and give us a refund. I don’t think we’re the only ones that had problems at this location
