You can easily walk to Barton Springs Pool and Zilker Park for all of the awesome festivals such as ACL, Blues on the Green, the Kite Festival, or just go hang out and relax with the Austin skyline as your backdrop. This studio apartment has an absolutely perfect location! It\`s right next to Zilker Park and downtown, which means you\`re super close to everything. It\`s recently been redecorated. The apartment sleeps 4 people comfortably with 2 in the luxurious king bed and 2 on the comfy sleeper sofa. All fitted with luxury hotel quality linens to ensure a perfect nights rest. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic cookware, dishes, microwave, coffee maker, range oven and utensils. With fluffy pillows and hotel quality sheets, we know you will be able to get great sleep while you\`re here! There is a pool just outside the apartment. Guests are welcome to use the pool but please be respectful of the neighbors. Pool hours are 10am to 10pm. There is also a community coin operated laundry facility on the property. At the 3rd attempt, I finally got a text from the management company with a new code. The unit is in a 1970's vintage apartment complex. The whole complex looks like it needs an upgrade. All in all this is not a nice property. It has a window AC unit mounted in the wall (I could see daylight around the opening). The AC left the unit smelling of mildew and feeling a little damp. It was also loud and kept cycling on and off all night which didn't make for very restful sleep. The tub drain didn't drain well, and the bathroom had a funky smell. There was a bug in the coffee pot. I'm a fan of Vrbo and usually prefer it to a hotel. Probably won't be staying in this unit again. The location was excellent--just not the unit. ##### Regina D. Although the code to access the room didn't initially work, they were quick with providing a new one. The neighborhood is very nice and super close to downtown and Zilker Park which was perfect for our holiday plans. Definitely recommend this property for a small family, couple or afew group of friends. This studio is in a quiet, residential neighborhood very close to Zilker Park. Access to the unit was easy, and it was clean and well stocked. In addition to the usual consumables, it was also stocked with salt, sugar, coffee, etc. No dishwasher, and the AC unit was a little loud. Overall a good place to stay. One drawback is that it is not within walking distance of the popular areas such as downtown, SoCo and Sixth & Rainey Streets. We had to Uber to these locations each day of our stay, and the costs added up. It would have been beneficial to have an automobile. ##### Allan C. My spouse, however, kept waking up when the AC compressor would kick on. Finding alternative locations to stay near downtown Austin the day of a vacation is very difficult, so we had to just deal with the "tired headaches" during our rare days off. Neither of us were in the best of moods for this trip. Property manager was unable to repair the AC himself. Maintenance never showed. No more wall unit AC equipped properties for me. ##### Paul S P.
