The space
Step inside your private retreat--a thoughtfully restored stone cottage where every detail has been chosen with intention. Sunlight filters through warm textures and soft tones, creating a sense of calm from the moment you arrive. Whether you’re here for a quiet midweek reset, a campus visit, or a weekend getaway, the home feels like a boutique stay made personal.

Gather in the inviting living room with its comfortable seating and 65” matte art-frame TV, or curl up with a book from the curated shelf. The kitchen is fully equipped for slow mornings or easy dinners--complete with a coffee bar featuring locally micro-roasted beans and multiple brewing options.

When it’s time to rest, each bedroom is designed for deep, restorative sleep with organic sheets, blackout shades/curtains, and a mix of firm and soft pillows. The upstairs suite offers a king bed and private bathroom, while two bedrooms downstairs include a cozy queen and a playful twin-over-full bunk room ideal for families or friends.

Two bathrooms are stocked with EWG-verified Attitude amenities, plush towels, and thoughtful extras — from hair turbans to linen spray so packing light is easy.

Outdoor Spaces

The private back deck is perfect for coffee at sunrise. Fire up the Blackstone grill, play a game of oversized Jenga, or simply unwind in the sounds of Old Town Georgetown. The fenced yard offers privacy and peace, with outdoor seating both front and back for morning light or evening breeze.

EV travelers can charge worry-free with the complimentary Level 2 charger right beside the driveway (fits two vehicles).

Family-Ready Details

Traveling with little ones? Infant-friendly amenities are available upon request, including a Pack & Play with organic sheets, baby monitor, baby tub, and stair gate. The bunk room includes toys and vintage children’s books to make even the youngest guests feel at home.

For Work or Longer Stays

If you’re working remotely or visiting Southwestern University, the cottage offers high-speed WiFi, quiet spaces, and reliable comfort. Laundry essentials, an iron, and a steamer make extended stays easy and seamless.

Guest Access

Guests have full private access to the entire home, deck, and fenced backyard. Smart-lock entry allows simple self check-in and checkout.

Other Things to Note

The cottage was designed for rest, comfort, and care. For guests with sensitivities, we use EWG-verified cleaning products throughout the home. Please note there are steps at both entrances and one flight of stairs to the primary suite.

Out of respect for neighbors and future guests, smoking and pets are not permitted. Quiet hours are observed between 10 PM and 8 AM.

* This house has steps to enter and the master bedroom/bathroom require the ability to climb a flight of stairs.
* No smoking of any kind inside/outside the house. (A $250 cleaning fee applies if violated.)
* No parties or events.
* For safety, please supervise children around furniture, stairs, and outdoor areas.
* Pets are not allowed—we appreciate your understanding.
* Please respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM, especially outside.
