Strip malls, small businesses, and loyal natives boasting a no-frills attitude fill the spaces in between the greenery and residential areas. Guests can enjoy a scenic view of Lady Bird Lake and the city beyond while taking a walk along The Boardwalk. The neighborhood is home to many cheap trendy eateries and coffee shops. Visit hotspots like Summer Moon Coffee, Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden, one of the trendy unique places that offer specialty coffee, local beers, craft cocktails & live music along with food trucks all in one area! Getting Around: We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Please be aware. \- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else. \- For longer term stays over 30 days, guests are required to pay for monthly full-home cleaning services at $95/clean. This requirement cannot be waived and must be paid prior to each monthly cleaning service. Pets ARE allowed depending on size, please let us know beforehand and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation. We weren't even in town for 48 hours, but this property provided all we needed. It was clean, easy to get to, and the owner was easy to chat with on check-in questions.
