The Neighborhood: This neighborhood is a serene suburb-like neighborhood located in Southeast Austin, right next to McKinney Falls State Park. It is located on a hill and can provide great hilltop-like views of Downtown Austin and the Texas Hill Country from the neighborhood park that's within a 2-minute walk (amazing for catching the official annual Austin city fireworks show if you are here for July 4th). Getting Around: We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Rideshare apps such as Uber and Lyft are also great options but expenses can quickly add up as Austin rideshare rates are on the higher end and can surge very high during busy times, such as 2AM on weekends and during large events such as SXSW, conferences, F1, etc. Other Things to Note: ★★★ PRE-STAY GUEST VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED ★★★ To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal, and/or, in some instances, complete a criminal background check. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation that does not meet our verification check criteria. ★ Other Things to Note ★ \- The twin-sized trundle beds in bedrooms #3 and #4 are underneath the bed and can be rolled out from underneath for use during your stay \- Garage parking is not available, and all cars should be parked on the driveway and on the street curb directly in front of the house \- We would love to welcome guests who book our apartment the same day of their arrival, but please be aware that your check-in may be a bit delayed (to as late as 7 pm) as we rush to prepare the unit for your arrival. Guests who book more than 24 hours in advance will be able to check-in by 4 pm. \- We provide all of our guests a starter kit of consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, etc. Guests can purchase any additional consumables from nearby grocery stores that you think you might need during your stay beyond what's included in the starter kit. \- The HOA may run maintenance on the shared amenities as they see fit at any time. Please be aware. \- This property has a guest limit of 7 standard and 16 maximum. Extra guest fees apply beyond standard occupancy. \- We have lawn care service that comes to the house on a bi-weekly basis around Wednesdays (might be earlier or later) to mow the law and take care of the landscaping, and therefore will need access to the front and back yard during service. We do respectfully that guests keep all pets in doors during the lawn care service to ensure the lawn maintenance can be performed quickly. Pets ARE allowed depending on size and are subject to pet fees. Please let us know beforehand and add the pet count to the reservation and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation. May 16, 2024 Liked: Check-in, communication, location Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy #### Not clean When you walk up to the front door you see that it is dirty and there are bird droppings, when you get into the house you see the dirty walls. The sheets were stained and had hair on the sheets. there are small spiders along the back top wall of the living and dining area. The property manager responded by sending the cleaning person to change the sheets, I asked for something to put on the sofas because one of them had the fake leather peeling off and we do not want to sit on them. There was no garage access and you have to park on a steep driveway incline, or you do what I did parked on the street during the day. You can't go in the backyard after 10pm. We rent places every year and this is the worst one we have stayed in. It did not feel clean or comfortable. ##### Anthony T.
