The Neighborhood:  
The vibrant North Loop neighborhood is a leader in keeping Austin weird. Famed for its selection of independent and unique shops, you can find an expansive collection of vintage clothing, funky furniture, books, and records. The North Loop is also home to several new restaurants and bars, making this funky neighborhood a great little place to visit (or live) in Austin.  
  
Getting Around:  
We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Rideshare apps such as Uber and Lyft are also great options but expenses can quickly add up as Austin rideshare rates are on the higher end and can surge very high during busy times, such as 2AM on weekends and during large events such as SXSW, conferences, F1, etc.

\- We would love to welcome guests who book our apartment the same day of their arrival, but please be aware that your check-in may be a bit delayed (to as late as 7 pm) as we rush to prepare the unit for your arrival. Guests who book more than 24 hours in advance will be able to check-in by 4 pm.  
\- We provide all of our guests a starter kit of consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, etc. Guests can purchase any additional consumables from nearby grocery stores that you think you might need during your stay beyond what's included in the starter kit.  
\- The apartment complex may run maintenance or clean the gym, and other shared amenities as they see fit at any time. Please be aware.  
\- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else.  
\- Guests must register all cars in the parking portal provided in order to park onsite in the non-covered and non-reserved spots. The parking registration must be renewed every 24-hours for every car. Failure to adhere to these registration rules and standard parking policies will result in guests' cars being towed at the guests' expense.  
  
Pets ARE allowed depending on size, please let us know beforehand and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation. The following additional PER pet cleaning fee applies :  
  
1- 4 Nights : $25 Per Night  
5-29 Nights : $200  
30+ Nights : $300 Per Month

This property was nicely redecorated by the owner. The building itself was older than expected. The owners were very responsive. A few more items in the kitchen would have been nice (glasses, silverware, etc.).
