Flat pillows, no real way to cook, far from town and restaurants, not as clean as promised. The mineral deposits on the faucets should be relatively simple to clean, as are the cobwebs in corners. Owners should listen to their customers and make some changes. The big picture of the place is good, but the details that make it a 5 star are missing. Side note- the branch that hits the roof of the house makes weird noises at night! That's another thing the owner could take care of... ##### Penny Sue D. All the pans were dirty as well as dishes, glases and silverware. There was no stove but they did have an mini electric cooktop, which was dirty as well. When we went to make coffee, the pot and maker were absolutely filthy. When my wife opened the microwave, there was a blast of putrid air. I may have missed it in the description when booking… but the oven was a toaster oven and stove was a hot plate. The refrigerator was a dorm fridge. We brought food to cook and there wasn’t a convenient way to do so. We did leave two nights early to sleep in our own bed. We did read that the pillows were old and flat in a review. They were. It's definitely great for how many beds it had at the price I got it at! The upstairs is a loft. For some reason, I thought it had a full wall closing it off, but it's just a railing, so keep that in mind. I wish I could give 4.5 stars for some minor issues. There was some hair on the sheets on the downstairs bed, there was an iron but no ironing board, the pillows were pretty flat, and the directions to the house were a little confusing. I didn't contact the owner about these things because we figured out solutions on our own - and like I said, they were minor issues - so I'll keep my official rating at 5 stars. ##### Erica R. It's a windy drive from town, but it's very easy to find. We stayed two nights and the second night the TV would not stay connected to the WiFi. Our phones could connect, but even after disconnecting all devices the TV would cut out after a few minutes and take at least 5 to connect again after getting out of an app. B/c of this, we headed down to propane fire pit, but it wouldn't ignite. We were able to enjoy a quiet night outside. There is a common area parking spot. All four cabins share it so you cannot pull right up to your cabin. The property was very clean and cute. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a mounted shampoo/conditioner dispenser and was clean. The sheets were pretty bad, but if you bring your own you'll be fine. I went with my mom and daughter for a DS/Johnson City girls trip. There was plenty of space for the three of us. All amenities were accurately listed. Recommend! ##### Abby M. Nice shared outdoor seating area to read, talk, and play corn hole. Beds were cozy even with the cold outside. The property, especially the bathroom, had unfortunately not been cleaned very throughly. Agree with previous reviewers that the shower head could be improved. We weren’t surprised to have limited cell coverage, but the wifi was very spotty as well. I hadn’t read the listing thoroughly enough and arrived with frozen pizzas, but then discovered there was no oven (my mistake, just a heads up to future guests who might also gloss over the amenities)! ##### Courtney O.
