"We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The rooms and facilities were really nice as well as clean. All of the staff were really friendly, lovely and helpful. They were quick to respond to any issue we had. One of which was the fact that the bedrooms didn't have a mirror near to a plug socket. Maybe not used to western women staying. However they quickly found us a mirror for each bedroom. When we seemed to have a problem with the air con late at night, again someone was quick to come and help...
"The Ambassador Ajanta is an older property. While in some ways it looks dated, it is still a very nice hotel with great service overall. The front desk staff, especially Tasleem, were very helpful. They also accommodated our late checkout even when they were fully booked. I would say there was some confusion about our kids. Expedia says 0-17 are kids, but the hotel said anyone about 6 is an adult. I booked my room based off of what Expedia said. Initially the hotel wanted to charge me for the...
"The wireless is outdated as you have to continually login with an Indian cell phone. They act like wireless is precious when this is 2020. When you go the desk, no one can help you with payment or anything broken in your room. Instead, those 3-4 employees at the desk send away for a manager in another part of the hotel, which takes 10 minutes. Why can't the 3-4 people at the front desk have any answers to our questions?"
"Rotten, a lizard in room, 100s of mosquitos in room, property very run down with mould in bath room, sheets not washed, we found somebody pile of hair in bed. Stinks and smells of mould. We checked out and moved to another hotel in 10 minutes. Loud noise outside, like a boom box on head. "

"Awesome staff"

"We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The rooms and facilities were really nice as well as clean. All of the staff were really friendly, lovely and helpful. They were quick to respond to any issue we had. One of which was the fact that the bedrooms didn't have a mirror near to a plug socket. Maybe not used to western women staying. However they quickly found us a mirror for each bedroom. When we seemed to have a problem with the air con late at night, again someone was quick to come and help us. The cleaners used to leave us sculptures made from towels. The porter on realising that one of our rooms had a double bed and the other one had a connecting door, was ahead of us in asking reception to switch the room so that we were in adjoining rooms with twin beds. The restaurant food was very tasty. However the idea of using a QR code to scan a lengthy menu is painful. The list is so long and there is no quick way to jump up or down the list without a lot of scrolling. That really needs re-thinking. Either create a paper menu or improve the website.
