The Grand Hotel - Salem

"The lobby is beautiful. The hallways and breakfast room was way too hot. Why no ac in the halls or where you’re having breakfast. It felt like a sauna (to me). For the price of the room I was a little disappointed in the room. It was nice , I guess for close to $300 I expected more."

"The elevator was broken so we had to carry suitcase down stairs. Thankfully, the staircase was short and the lobby was on the 2nd floor so all guests needed to go up or down a max of 1 short flight. Stuff happens and the staff was working to resolve. Otherwise, our stay was very nice. Typical hotel breakfast with variety."

"Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately there were a few private events so we weren't able to eat at the restaurant which meant we needed to walk to the town which was close but added time that we didnt have. There was a 6am alarm still set from the previous room occupants which was a shock when we weren't expecting to get up til 9am."
