Summary:  
  
Set high above Putiki Bay, Fairview Apartment by Stay Waiheke, Unit 1 is a calm, modern retreat on a peaceful ten-acre property. With wide views across sea and farmland, it’s a quiet space to unwind but close to everything you’ll want to see and do on the island.  
  
The Space:  
  
The apartment is bright and sunny, designed with comfort and ease in mind. There’s a full kitchen, a brand-new bathroom, and a comfortable lounge area with Smart TV, Wi-Fi, and premium linen, every detail considered for an easy stay.  
  
You’re close to Waiheke’s best-known vineyards and restaurants, with beaches, walks, and golf all within a short drive. After a day out, you can cook at home, pour a glass of something local, and enjoy the stillness of the property as the light fades over the bay.  
  
The property sits down a long gravel road from the main road, private, quiet, and part of what makes it feel like a true escape.

Guest Access:  
  
You’ll have private access to the entire apartment for the duration of your stay. The space is self-contained with its own kitchen, bathroom, and living area. On-site parking is provided, and the property is reached via a gravel driveway leading from the main road.  
  
Check-in is from 2:00 pm, and check-out is by 10:30 am. Early check-ins or late check-outs may be available for a small additional fee, depending on bookings.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
  
Grab a coffee from The Island Grocer, or stop by AkiTō Deli for something fresh from the counter. For lunch, Arcadia Café in Palm Beach is an easy local favourite. Dinner’s best at Fenice in Oneroa Village, or try The Oyster Inn for something more refined with a view of the bay.  
  
If you’re in the mood for a little shopping, Oneroa Village has boutique stores and galleries to wander. The Tailor and His Lover for designer pieces, Body & Soul for island wear, and Timmy Smith for jewellery and small gifts. You can also stop by The Island Grocer for local produce, cheeses, and Waiheke wines to take back to the apartment.  
  
A short drive brings you to the vineyards of Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and Tantalus Estate, each known for their wine tastings and long lunches. For a more casual evening, The Heke Kitchen, Brewery & Distillery is a local favourite, open-air dining, craft beer, and a live DJ on Friday afternoons through summer.  
  
Getting Around:  
  
Getting around from Fairview Apartment is easy. The nearest bus stop is about a minute’s walk away, with regular routes running between the Matiatia ferry terminal, Oneroa Village, and Onetangi Beach. The main route passes through Vineyard Valley, stopping right outside many of the island’s top wineries and The Heke Kitchen, Brewery & Distillery, where Fridays often end with music, craft beer, and open-air dining.

3 nights during January and holiday weekends  
  
2 nights at all other times  
  
One-night stays are accepted between May 1st and mid-October with a $25 surcharge  
  
The property is accessed via a long gravel driveway from the main road, private and peaceful, but typical of rural island living.  
  
Like many homes on Waiheke, Fairview Apartment runs on rainwater tanks, so please use water thoughtfully during your stay.  
  
Interaction with Guests:  
  
Once checked in, the home is set up for a private and independent stay. For life-threatening emergencies, guests must call 111 immediately. For urgent property issues outside business hours, the after-hours contact number provided in your check-in details should be used.

#### Booking Bookabach and StayWaiheke

All great with property but a bit confused why I had my booking confirmed by Bookabach then I had to give my credit card details to Stay Waiheke. I was reluctant at first as I thought it could be a scam as Booking numbers were different. Then I saw on the bookabach confirmation that Stay Waiheke was to be used. I did put my details in and dealt with them from then on.

#### A true hidden hideaway

What an amazing place to spend a few days away. Such a cute little unit with everything you need. Very modern, up to date, clean place. Hidden down a long driveway, you are given immense privacy. Close to everything you need as well with amazing hospitality. I would recommend this place and will be sure to come again.

This apartment is stylish, very clean and comfortable and well located in the middle of the island. The use of owner’s car was a real bonus and much appreciated. #### Awesome place for honeymoon retreat

Loved the place and nice and centrally located to beaches and places to visit. Liked the long gravel drive which added to the experience. First time on Waiheke for us and was made so easy and friendly by hosts especially since it was our honeymoon. Next time we would take up offer of using vehicle as would be well worth it.

#### The perfect place for a holiday

Fairview Apartments offer exceptional accommodation. They are located very close to Palm Beach but are far enough from the road to be utterly peaceful and quiet (apart from the bird-song.) The facilities are very well-designed and very comfortable. The bathroom is brilliant. The hosts - Andy and Ruth - are very kind, thoughtful and generous. We loved every minute of our stay at this property.

#### Pristine, serene and so generous

After many stays at Waiheke's various Airbnb accommodations, this is the nicest we've found. Really a gem, so we're almost tempted to keep quiet about this find. It has splendid views. It is extremely quiet and serene, with only nature and animals around you, but it is still just minutes from Ostend. The whole place is superbly immaculate, well stocked with everything, nice linen and a luxurious bed, Sky TV, kitchen, etc. Everything you ever would want in a place. Last, our host Andy let us borrow his old, but very comfortable BMW 320i during our entire stay. How can you beat that? We will obviously stay here for all future Waiheke trips. J and T Saloranta

#### Above and beyond expectation

Andrew knows exactly how a guest would like to be treated and goes well and truly out of his way to make this happen. I have yet to stay in accommodation elsewhere where the owner is happy to pick you up from public transport and then lets you borrow his vehicle to ensure that you maximise the enjoyment out of your stay. The accommodation was spotless, well designed, tastefully decorated and everything we needed to be able to relax and use as a base in preparation for a friend's wedding. Added toys to accommodate our toddler were also a perfect touch. Thanks again Andrew for your hospitality. I recommend Fairview Apartment 100%. Little tip for the traveller would be to get in contact about the car as early as possible to avoid any disappointment from what I have mentioned above.

#### Amazing accomodation, almost brand new and very clean

We had enjoyed so much our stay at Fairview apartments. I have very high standards for cleanliness and the place was above my standards. The unit is very tastefully furnished and decorated. Andy is a fantastic host and he even gave us a courtesy car which made a huge difference to our stay in Waiheke 😇 we will definitely come back and book the two units together to bring over the rest of the family. We absolutely loved our 2 night stay at Fairview 1 Waiheke Island, beautifully designed, styled and equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay, oh and the view is seriously beautiful.
