Board and Batten is a stylish four-bedroom escape set on a private, beautifully landscaped lifestyle block, just a short stroll from Matakana village. Blending timeless cottage charm with high-spec modern finishes and bespoke details, this retreat is the perfect base for families and friends.  
  
The main house unfolds in a light-filled open plan, where a designer kitchen anchors the living and dining area, flowing effortlessly to expansive decking. Outside, enjoy your own resort-style oasis with an in-ground pool, spa pool, and covered alfresco dining complete with ceiling heaters and lounge seating—ideal for year-round entertaining or relaxing under the palms.  
  
Three bedrooms in the main house, two with queen beds and one with a king single, are served by a contemporary bathroom and an additional powder room. A Smart TV and streaming access offer indoor entertainment for quieter evenings.  
  
The fourth bedroom is located in a self-contained studio with its own bathroom, Smart TV-equipped media lounge, and kitchenette featuring a fridge-freezer, tea and coffee station, toaster, and small dining setting. Sliding doors open to a private deck with a café table—your own quiet spot to unwind. Full laundry facilities and a dishwasher complete the setup for longer stays.  
  
Just 45 minutes from Auckland, Board and Batten is within walking distance of Matakana’s top attractions, including the iconic Saturday Market, Sawmill Brewery, Matakana Cinema, and a host of local cafés and restaurants. A short drive takes you to the region’s best beaches and parks—Omaha, Tawharanui, Leigh, Matheson Bay, Snells Beach, Pakiri, and the Goat Island Marine Reserve.
