A working farm with charming rooms, a Michelin recognized restaurant on site, a gorgeous pool area, and wonderful breakfast. All while goats and horses run around the property in fenced pastures. "We stayed at this hotel last minute when our flight into Venice was delayed and we arrived in the evening. We didn't have high expectations since we hadn't had time to research, but were extremely pleasantly surprised. We found the hotel to be charming, and the main piazza of Mestre to be lovely. We ate dinner at Fratteli la Bufala around the corner and it was the best pizza of our trip. We took the local bus into Venice the next day which was easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend Venice tourists consider staying here instead of actually in Venice as it is much more affordable, has less of a tourist-overload feel, and was a very pleasant stay! I would stay here again and recommend it to friends."
