Family get together
Our family normally vacations together and always looks for efficiency places. We picked this space because of the proximity to the downtown area and closeness to the water. Upon entry the place was moderately clean but the downstairs floor was sticky. Spoke to the host they assured the place was clean and if the stickiness remained to contact them it didn't get better. The next thing was a lack of bed sheets, was never corrected. The washing machine was clogged and dog hair was on the couch. They did fix it. We found out that the oven didn't work after we purchased food to cook. The yard was over grown (corrected). The stove wasn't corrected so it made it difficult to cook for a family of 11 with just a toaster oven. Mentioned the condition of the place and the lack of use of the oven and no concession were made or addressed. Pictures below is the visual of the sticky floor.I would not recommend repeating a stay with this host as the oven not working was known and not told to the renting family. They can improve though so hopefully our experience is a one off.Our family made due with what we had but was disappointed in the communication from host.
