This seaside suburban town is known for its scenic oceanside beach as well as its wide selection of entertainment options and casinos similar to Las Vegas. Atlantic City is well-known for its resort-style atmosphere with its vibrant scene and Jersey shore perks like the four-mile-long Atlantic City Boardwalk and the picturesque Atlantic Beach. Nicknamed the “Entertainment Capital of the Jersey Shore,” Atlantic City is overflowing with fun events, a lively art, cultural, and nightlife scene, as well as plenty of fitness and recreation options. Many of the attractions in Atlantic City like the casinos, hotels, boardwalk, and beach are easily within walking distance or bike ride away! There is also The Atlantic City Jitney, a minibus that makes stops at various locations throughout the city. Uber/Lyft are easily accessible as well. Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site. TRASH Trash day is Tuesday. If you are staying over night on Monday, we would really appreciate if you could help us out by taking the trash cans (on the right side of the home) to the curb. It can be taken out Monday night or early Tuesday morning. PARKING We have a driveway that can accommodate up to 3 cars. THE 3 CARS NEED TO BE PARKED IN TIGHTLY, AND CAN NEVER BLOCK THE SIDEWALK. YOU WILL GET A TICKET!! There is also street parking, but please make sure to read all street signs. PLEASE NOTE: There is a back basement apartment that is only used by the homeowners on occasion. This unit is not rented out. This separate unit has its own separate entrance and the homeowner will not park in the driveway while guests have reserved the property so you will still have all 3 parking spots. The owner will need to walk on the driveway to enter and exit the unit, but otherwise, you will not notice them. The owner will also not use the front porch or backyard while the main house is reserved. Noise level: We use smart home technology to improve your experience. NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. NoiseAware is privacy compliant and is required on this property. The house was the perfect size to accommodate couples and children of different ages. I loved the huge dining room table so we could all eat meals together. The location couldn't have been better, literally about 6 houses down from the beach! And a very easy walk to the Atlantic City Boardwalk even for our 80 year old mother which we took full advantage off each night. ##### Rachele E. That really didn't bother us much because it was maybe a mistake by the cleaners. The 1st night was good but the next morning there was a high hurricane like wind all day and that just seemed to have ruined the rest of our stay. The window in one of the second floor rooms was leaking in cold air. Also 2 rooms on the 3rd floor was also very very cold. We reached out to manager and the heat was adjusted through the main floor but the situations with the rooms remained the same. Reached out to her again and never got a response. That night everyone from those 3 rooms had to sleep in the living room. Very uncomfortable. A few days after we left I reached out to the host sending her pictures of my friends sleeping on the floor and asked for a refund. Until this day I haven't gotten a response. ##### DALE B. The location was perfect - less than a block away from the free beaches in Atlantic City (no tags needed). If you stay on the block and get to place svia the boardwalk (which is a block from the house, super close) or Uber, you're fine. Definitely lock up the house and cars when you're out. As far as the home, it was good. Enough beds and what we were looking for in terms of size. Things were clean, but if you plan on cooking there is literally nothing to cook with (I believe there was one pasta pot). There was a hiccup with the keyless entry upon getting to the house. The code they gave me didn't work, but there was a backup key in a lockbox so we were able to get right in. The hosts said they'd have someone come fix the keypad, but that never happened and it was annoying to have to keep track of one key for a party of 10 people. Other than that, the house is what we expected.
