SEE HOUSE RULES FOR CANCELLATION POLICY "Mermaids" is a three story home with enough space to spread out. The ocean view on the main and upper level is spectacular. There is a heated pool, hot tub and weber grill on the main level with an outdoor hot and cold shower. Enjoy the outdoors in your private swimming pool, in-ground hot tub, outdoor shower and grill. IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO READ The lower level has a separate entrance under the stairs to main floor. The lower level can only be accessed from driveway. The lower level has a small bathroom with shower. The lower level has an 85 inch television queen pull out couch, bar and refrigerator as well as the washer and dryer. The main level of the house has a newly renovated kitchen, dining room, living room small bathroom with small claw foot tub which you can bathe or shower in with very little space. This main floor has three bedrooms - one with a king bed and the other two have one queen-size bed each. The upper level has two bedrooms - the first bedroom has a king with queen sleeper sofa and brand new wet bar with coffee station. The kids' room has three twin and one queen . The living room, second floor bedroom with king bed as well as the upper level bedrooms have spectacular views of the ocean. There are 5 TVs with cable in three of the bedrooms and living room and lower level playroom. LINENS , TOWELS AND TOILETRIES ARE NOT INCLUDED If you are planning to bring a pet, please make sure you contact owner. There are additional $200 fee for lodging of pet. These fees do not include cleaning hair that may shed. Owner of pet is responsible for making sure that rental home is free of all pet hair. Animals are not permitted on furniture and bedding. If there is animal hair on the furniture and or bedding the guest will incur an additional cleaning bill from cleaning company. These additional fees will be deducted from the security deposit. Of the three bathrooms there is no master bath. The bathrooms are small. We stayed here for a long weekend and had the best time. The home is the perfect beach cottage with tons of space to spread out and enjoy vacation. Our family enjoyed to hot tub, pool and fun game room. Winter sunsets are amazing-we spotted dolphins sitting on the back deck and enjoyed the walkability to the circle. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by every one of all ages. The views were spectacular and beach access couldn’t have been better! We did have an issue with the basement area, but the host immediately responded and had a maintenance person come in. The house is very spacious and decorated beautifully. But we here were quite a few negatives. There were many cockroaches outside and a handful inside that we would see come out at night. Overall the house looked clean but there were definitely areas around that could use a much deeper clean.The house was very old, so expect older furniture (wardrobes instead of dressers), no closets and not many outlets. The owner was great and let us know that the outdoor shower had the best water pressure, but the outdoor shower can be viewed from the upper balcony space. The walk to the beach was nice but the sand has definitely piled up, so it was longer and harder than we would’ve liked. We were vacationing with 10 adults and 6 children aged 2 and under, so the walk of course was harder with a stroller/wagon. The deck area and pool space was gorgeous, definitely the best part of the property, but it wasn’t the safest with the young toddlers we had as they could easily fall into the pool. So this house was not a great space for young children. ##### Paige O. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the covered deck was also a plus. The communication with the host for a minor issue was easy and he got back to us fast. Extremely easy access to the beach. Great backyard patio/pool area with plenty of seating. Two decks with awesome ocean views. Plenty of room for our group of 9 to spread out. Very convenient to a ton of shops and restaurants, not to mention the beach. The pool and hot tub were a huge bonus. The deck off the master suite was also heaven especially in the mornings. The kids loved having a hang out room seperate from the rest of the house. We had one small issue and Stefan was extremely responsive and helpful in getting it resolved. "We had an amazing vacation with family and friends at this beachfront property in Atlantic Beach, NC. Our group of 8 adults and 8 kids (aged 4-12) had a wonderful time. The property is perfectly located right on the beach, offering breathtaking ocean views. The hot tub was a highlight, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Host Stefan was exceptional, ensuring our stay was comfortable and hassle-free. He even arranged for someone to check on comforters on Christmas Eve and followed up to ensure everything was in order.
