Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room itself was a little small, but it was extremely quiet which was great. Only two issues were the lack of working ice machines and how overpriced the in-room dining was (4 shrimp for $24). Overall, a good place to stay!

The Candler was a beautiful hotel with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The hotel restaurant and bar was nice with wonderful food. I am glad I splurged a little extra to stay here and would gladly stay there again.

Great trip. We stayed for 3 nights. Only downside is being told constantly to eat at the restaurant and when we tried for brunch, hostess told us there was no seating available. Made us sit at bar where a laptop and paperwork were... They moved it for us to sit.. But just want to point out that the restaurant had SEVERAL empty tables.

Beautiful building adorned with rich history, the architecture gave the property an amazing feeling in the middle of a city. The staff service was impeccable. Thanks Dwight for excellent service and a great conversation about the building’s history.

Property brings you to a time when everything was made with class, purpose and high detail and has a been modernized so not to feel outdated. Slip into the bar for a classic cocktail to cap your night. Every morning or evening we were greeted at the door with their super friendly staff. We did not have a car so we didn't need the valet but they were always there getting the door at just greeting with a smile.

This place is very elegant, beautiful quiet, and convenient. It is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta with the many restaurants surrounding it. The hotel is adorned with marble, decorations, and fancy brass even on the elevators doors! The restaurant “By George” is a great restaurant in the hotel. The food is amazing and the service is very high-quality. Delicious and healthy choices. The bartender, Jeff, went out of his way to show us the whole place and under the restaurant, where it was a bank before and the vault is still there! Thank you, Jeff!

We stayed at the property for 3nts/4 days. Valet parking is $55. However we found street parking for $8 our entire stay without hassle. At first when we arrived we weren't too pleased with some of the items and service to our room. After complaining to the front desk, a gentleman by the name of Dwight quickly aplogized and offered us a new room. New room was perfect. He was very professional and followed up with us to make sure we were happy with our new room. We included the breakfast package with our stay and everything was well-plated & delicious. We had dinner one late night and that was delicious too. Hotel is close to everything including the airport.

After a long day of traveling we finally arrived at the hotel. The 2 gentlemen at the check in counter were busy chatting and carrying on with 2 half dressed women to wait on us. As we waited to check in we overheard that the girls weren’t even hotel guest, and were there for a party. You need employees that put your customers first. The gentleman that worked the front door and valets was exceptional! He needs to run the front desk …matter of fact probably the hotel.

Property was great and would definitely stay again. The area surrounding the hotel seemed a sketchy at times with a lot of unhoused people. At certain times during the day it could feel unsafe.
