Sorry folks. This is a terrible hotel. I had roaches in my room, bad smell in my mattress... Even though it's one of the cheapest options in the area, it's not worth the price.

You get what you pay for

Posted 25-Nov-2015
The hotel was cheap, rooms a little scruffy but comfortable and clean enough. The location is very close to the city but doesn't feel very safe for walking to or from town after dark (daytime is fine.) Also be aware that if you come on the MARTA eg from the city or airport it's either a fairly pricey taxi ride for just two blocks, or what might be a confronting and uncomfortable walk past the homeless shelter - though whether there is any great personal danger and how much class prejudice is involved is hard to say. Security at the hotel is friendly and seems effective. I felt perfectly safe and comfortable there. Though it can be a little rowdy even at night. If you have a car and don't need to walk anywhere; and are looking for budget accommodation this is fine. But be prepared that you do get what you pay for.

Pros: It was close (within walking distance) to where my meetings were being held--Hilton and Hyatt Regency
Cons: Fix dripping plumbing fittings, change phones constantly making noise
Location: Good
No hangers in the room, and staff were not willing to do anything about it. The room assigned to me was not ready upon entering it, and the next one assigned was not much better. The keys did not work, but more troubling is the fact that the office staff did not appear to see all of this as a big deal.

Not bad for a quick stay, but not comfortable

They advertise a fitness center onsite, but they took that out a few years ago. Messed up my training schedule as a result. Bad neighborhood, didn't feel safe walking outside even during the day.

Cheap hotel downtown

Posted 22-Nov-2015
Pros: Price
Cons: Bathroom floor tiles and baseboard need work. Parking area also needs work. Wi-fi doesn't work well (except on 4th floor, I was told).
Location: Location is just across I 75 from the major hotels, about 5 blocks away, easy walking from conferences and mall. A lot of homeless people live nearby.
Cheapest hotel near city center. Location is convenient but in shabby area. Has 24/7 security guard. Typical cheap motel room but with kitchette. Quality is poorly maintained but clean and affordable. Environment is not the best, but people were friendly.
