Hotel desagradable y peligroso

Posted 5-Feb-2016

Pros: Savannah Suites rents rooms by night, week or month. I think the building was condemned a long time ago and should have been torn d
Cons: Building has to be Demolished!!! Expedia did me NO FAVOUR putting me into this place!!
Location: Expedia listed SDS for $78 After I booked but charged me $150 night!! So I paid big money for an unsafe dump!
First cab driver had trouble finding it even with address-something about name change? When drove up to Savannah Suites, doors open, people going back on forth, could not see reception area. Banged on can window, told driver to stay, then saw reception-told cab to go. Room passes had to be held certain way -wouldn't work - tried twice -in end Security let me in. First Check-under mattress-no bedbugs. Wild strange noises through night, somebody walking back and forth on floor above about two, three in morning. Next morning,60-75 people milling around a building at Cortland/Pine corner, another 20 lined up against Croos Roads. When came back about 5:30 PM, pass to door would not work, anther swipe at off ,security let me in again, noticed people sitting on balcony outside a room, look like they had belongings with them, thought somebody was crying. Door bolt would not work. Same wildness in building through the night, same loud walking in room above me. Through the night, something going on in the street, seemed like a lot of people out there? In morning, man sitting at office counter but door locked, man would not acknowledge me. Here is the tragic part that will stay with me until I die. Sitting at front entrance was a woman( Mother or Grand-Mother),two boys maybe 10 and 12, and think a small girl close to the woman. All sitting quiet, Woman rocking back and forth in a wheel-chair or stroller, woman had gloves on. I think they sat out all night(not freezing but probably 5 C

Had to switch hotels

Posted 19-Jan-2016
This hotel was awful room was falling apart. It looked and smelled like it had not been cleaned in a while. My key didn't work and they said I would just have to go to the office every time. It was next door to s homeless shelter which was not stated on the site. It was the dirtiest room I have ever been in. It was not in a good part of town either. There was an armed guard in the parking lot.

Verry Bad Place

Posted 17-Jan-2016
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: EVERYTHING
Location: There wasn't even a store near by
This place is located right next to a shelter in a very bad part of town. I almost got jumped twice by the homeless men that stand out side the shelter. the maid never cleaned my room and when I asked about changing my sheet they said that was on me. They had NO aminitys what so ever. I had to sleep with the lights on so the bugs would not eat at me. There where so many conventions in town when I was staying that I could not get another room.
