The bed was clean. The room was clean. I could smell marijuana all over the hotel. Even tho it’s a no smoke zone, my room smelled like the previous guest smoked. The front desk receptionist accidentally charged my card twice. 24 hrs later I’m still waiting for one of the extra charges to roll off and it significantly impacted what I was able to do on my trip to Atlanta due to financials.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with my stay at la quinta, as it was my first time with the chain. The property was fairly nice and new looking, and the staff did a good job at being attentive and responsive. I demoted a star from the property, however, because of two issues we faced during our stay. First, while it was temperate during out stay in Alpharetta, when we arrived to our room for the evening we found our AC was not responding, and the room was growing warm. Despite the later hour (it was 11pm, but we are over 40 and that's late) the wonderful front desk attendant answered quickly and got a new room right away. The second issue is that in the morning, since we tend to shower later in the morning, there wasn't any hot water in the shower. other wise I would definitely stay here again, love that I can bring my dog, love the fridge and microwave in the large spacious room, the bed was comfortable, the AC worked super well in room #2, there's a few good spots to eat and drink in walking distance, and we had a good time.

Tub stopper was broken shower would fill up during shower drain was clogged. There was never ice in the ice machine. Elevator stopped working. The hotel market was very low on food and drink products. No tv channels.

Honestly this location was very convenient, and very quiet . However , I was in room 212 at first and I saw a roach on the floor . I panicked a little and proceeded to kill it . Then I moved the television and there were more . I freaked out in all honesty and I was disgusted. The bathroom wasn’t clean, the sheets had stains on them and it was overall a terrible choice on my end.

Our stay was very nice the staff were nice and the room was clean and cozy. If you want a nice hotel, you have to spend the extra money. And this was a nice hotel!

Room has an odd smell to it and bathtub has had quite a few repairs. Appears very old and can see visible repairs. Check in person was very nice and other than the slight smell, the room was very clean.
