My recent hotel stay was a nightmare. Chaotic check-in, overwhelmed clerk dealing with a police matter, 20-minute wait, unactivated room keys, and a malfunctioning elevator added to the ordeal. The elevator door opened prematurely, causing me to twist my ankle. The room was filthy, with hair in the tub, burnt covers, mold, a cracked mirror, and a blanket covered in sticky fake nails. Despite wanting to leave, booking with reward points trapped me. Overall, a terrible experience I’ll never repeat.
