Very Nice Staff, Shame About The Place
If it weren't for the nice people working there, I would have walked out immediately.
I'm not too picky and I realize that this is a 2 star place - bare bones. And I knew I was going the cheap route by staying here. But the housekeeping was .... deplorable. I found half full, cold cups of coffee on the nightstand when I first checked into my room. I took it to the front desk wondering if my room was double-booked (hoping it was, but I knew it was left by housekeeping). The mirrors were gross! Not only could I not see myself because of the streaky, hazy, smeared residue on the mirror the one on the door was splattered with??? Then the worst part.... the towel rack behind the door was crammed full of dirty towels!! And these are just the things I noticed - I really didn't trust the cleanliness in my room at all. And because I was only there three nights, no housekeeping services.
The night crew were all friendly, positive and helpful. They all seemed to take pride in there work - hospitality at its best.
