Guest Access: You will have private access to the entire unit throughout your stay. Keep in mind that our unit is updated, but The building is an older building and a busy high rise. This means you can hear (and sometimes smell) neighbor activity in the hallway and even through the vents. Guests will be required to check-in with the concierge in the lobby and have their ID scanned upon arrival. Guests are required to come and go through the lobby throughout their stay. There is a laundry room located in the basement of the building. Payment is required (credit card payment is accepted) The Neighborhood: Downtown Atlanta is the ultimate in urban living. From the Victorian era buildings to the brand new skyscrapers, it’s the center of action in the city. Downtown has a few distinct areas, such as Fairlie-Poplar, South Downtown, Centennial Hill and Sono. While each one has its own special flair and flavor, they all have the high powered mix of restaurants, attractions and commerce that characterizes Downtown. The train takes 25 minutes to the airport ($2.50), Midtown is 5 minutes, Buckhead is 10 minutes. The condo is also right next to the on-ramp for I-75/85 and I-20, so getting around by car is also very convenient. You are a 5-10 minute Uber or Lyft from anything Downtown or Midtown, traffic considering. There are BYRD scooters for rent right outside the building per availability. This condo is on the Freedom Park Trail, so you can be on the Beltline in 10 minutes. Other Things to Note: Guests should note that the condo is located in the heart of the city and just like other city centers in the US, there are often houseless individuals smoking drinking around the area and outside of our building. Unfortunately this is something out of our control. Also the building is under construction at the moment, so there are blowers in the floor of the lobby and in the hallways to get rid off the smells, if you find them too loud at night, you can turn them off. Our parking lot is on-site but privately owned and the third party owner is not very responsible, so you may see some trash in the area. In addition, the parking lot can get creepy at night, please find another parking lot nearby if you are not comfortable. Once more, unfortunately this is also something out of our control. AC and heating are available seasonally. The AC is a PTAC system - wall units controlled by the HOA without a thermostat. We check the weather frequently and try to notify guests if we think it can be problematic, which may happen in transition seasons like the start of Spring or Fall. If you have very high standards for the temperature, we may not be your good choice. Please remember you are in a condominium with other residents and owners. As your hosts, we try as much as we can to be available from 830am to 930pm but please note - we may be in a meeting, at a doctor's appointment, and after-hours, sleeping. The check in process was pretty rigid. I’ve rented plenty of times with other competitor operations and never had this much of a process renting. All transactions other than booking were outside the app. I was asked to send a photo of my id, which I’ve never been required to do before. Being new to Vrbo, perhaps that is typical, however not user friendly. The property itself was nice enough. It was clean and serviceable. ##### Tomeisha Y. From the very moment we stepped on the property. Our original unit was GROSS ( hair on beds stains of couch the refrigerator was broken dirty floor) The host switched us to another unit in the same complex and it was just as gross. (Stains and hair on beds) I then contacted the host to inform her of these issues she contacted me back 13 hours later to inform me that someone would be coming to clean the room. Hospitality came and changed the sheets. Fast forward we left out to get food we come back to a ROACH. I would assume to believe the entire complex is infested. We immediately left the unit and informed the host. She informed me that she could only refund me for 2/3 of my nights. Which is ridiculous because I have been inconvenienced from the very second I stepped on the property. I do not recommend this property great location terrible everything else. ##### Aviyon P. Within walking distance of everything downtown but much quieter than the hotels. Large space and kitchen is definitely functional for cooking.
