Nice hotel, incompetent staff
The valet attendant made us give him our car key while we checked in, though we were self-parking, & managed to lose our keys in 2 minutes of having them. We spent the next 1/2 hour searching with him outside for our key, while he complained to US that it was going to cost $400 to get it replaced & would come out of his pocket, that he made minimum wage & it would take him months to pay off. It was completely inappropriate. Because of the key fiasco, we were almost an hour late to the party we were in town for. We were given a free shuttle ride to our party as we now had no car, & the driver asked us how he's supposed to be sure it's within 3 miles. Again, inappropriate. We were offered free breakfast but given no vouchers & the restaurant manager questioned us & seemingly had no idea, & told us the person who offered it to us had no managerial authority to do so. All in all, a customer service disaster handled poorly & unprofessionally at every turn by multiple staff members. Hotel was perfectly nice & otherwise fine, but we will never come back.
