Guest Access: You will have private access to the entire unit throughout your stay. Keep in mind that our unit is updated, but The building is an older building and a busy high rise. This means you can hear (and sometimes smell) neighbor activity in the hallway and even through the vents. There is a laundry room located in the basement of the building. Payment is required (credit card payment is accepted). The Neighborhood: Downtown Atlanta is the ultimate in urban living. From the Victorian era buildings to the brand new skyscrapers, it’s the center of action in the city. Downtown has a few distinct areas, such as Fairly-Poplar, South Downtown, Centennial Hill and Sono. While each one has its own special flair and flavor, they all have the high powered mix of restaurants, attractions and commerce that characterizes Downtown. MARTA operates both bus and rail lines throughout the city and into nearby suburbs. Uber and Lyft are also available in Atlanta Other Things to Note: Guests should note that the condo is located in the heart of the city and just like other city centers in the US, there are often houseless individuals smoking drinking around the area and outside of our building. Unfortunately this is something out of our control. Also the building is under construction at the moment, so there are blowers in the floor of the lobby and in the hallways to get rid off the smells, if you find them too loud at night, you can turn them off. Our parking lot is on-site but privately owned and the third party owner is not very responsible, so you may see some trash in the area. In addition, the parking lot can get creepy at night, please find another parking lot nearby if you are not comfortable. Once more, unfortunately this is also something out of our control. AC and heating are available seasonally. The AC is a PTAC system - wall units controlled by the HOA without a thermostat. We check the weather frequently and try to notify guests if we think it can be problematic, which may happen in transition seasons like the start of Spring or Fall. If you have very high standards for the temperature, we may not be your good choice. Please remember you are in a condominium with other residents and owners. As your hosts, we try as much as we can to be available from 830am to 930pm but please note - we may be in a meeting, at a doctor's appointment, and after-hours, sleeping. If you need a lot of assistance after hours and guaranteed immediate responses during the day, this may not be the condo for you. I asked questions prior to our stay. When we arrived, someone was in our room. So the room was not cleaned. We was not aware that we had to use a key fob to get into the main door. They had no one on site to assist us other than the door man for the building and he was not responsible for the rental properties. They put us in another room that wasn’t the same amount of rooms as our original room. Instead of communicating with us via phone they did through text message which was unprofessional. They ended up putting us in another room so this makes the third room now. The room was nice at first glance but when we got in there the room was disgusting. We had to clean the house and disinfect it several times. The microwave didn’t work and when we informed them they sent an extension cord the day before we left. I do not recommend staying with them with any of their properties!!!! The room was extremely hot due to the fact that they don’t allow you to control the thermostat. Walked to nearby restaurants for drinks/dinner/breakfast. Used MARTA Peachtree Center station to and from the airport and my friend drove in from Chattanooga. She found the parking a little confusing and couldnt find the space we were assigned, but used another un-numbered space with no repercussions. Easy access for her to get to and from the interstate.
