It is also quite centrally located; Cairns is about 20 minutes, the Atherton tablelands about an hour and the daintree about an hour and a half away- all easy day trips. There is also a nice walk along the river at the back of the property. The airport is only 18 minutes away, which we found very convenient at the end of our stay.
