Perfect Place / Perfect Host

Great unit in an amazing location. This apartment is close to restaurants, shopping, and the Acropolis.The hosts gave excellent recommendations and even offered a door to door shuttle from the airport. Highly recommended!

Location is everything!

This apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay in Athens, it was 15 minute walk from everything we wanted to do. The building itself is tidy and quiet and the unit was very spacious and clean. It was a great place to come after sightseeing and shopping in Athens!

We absolutely loved our stay at this Syntagma Square Apartment. Its central location made exploring Athens effortless, with Hop‑on Hop‑off bus stops just a short stroll away and plenty of wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. The beds were very comfortable, the living room seating was cozy, and the air conditioning kept the space perfectly cool.The shower room and separate toilet were spotless and modern, and the kitchen was simple to use for preparing meals. We felt completely safe and secure in the neighborhood throughout our stay.For anyone arriving early in the day, we highly recommend Locketpoint Luggage on Nikis. It’s close by, the staff is friendly, and they offer reliable luggage storage at a fair price—perfect for freeing you up to explore right away.

A fabulous find in a wonderful area! Walkable to everything....sites, shopping, restaurants, etc. The host was responsive and accommodating during check-in, allowing us to drop of luggage early. Highly recommend!

Great apartment. The location is perfect. And it’s close to the hotel Metropolis which has an amazing rooftop bar for having a drink with an Acropolis view. It’s a short walk to everything. Easy to follow instructions and great communication with the host. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished. It’s nice to grab a cold drink from the refrigerator and relax on the sofa after a long day enjoying the city. I travel to Greece yearly and will be booking this apartment again.

Great Location

The location is great. Close to the markets, the Acropolis and great restaurants. It was close enough when we wanted to take a rest we could walk back to the place and stay in an air conditioned place.

Nice place to stay. Manager very nice . I suggest having an extra set of keys not attached to the electric card so that if someone stays behind it is easier. Wonderful place

The property was nice but needs additional things done. No wash cloths, kitchen towels, pot holders. Lights in bathroom need bulbs replaced and batteries replaced in tv controls. The bath with shower is a trip hazard as you have to open the door all the way to get around the shower to the toilet or you will kick the ceramic tile. My brother in law broke his toe on it. Entrance to other toilet has a 1 inch lip which you can kick as I did. The security screen to get out to the deck took 3 of us to get it up. All in all it is a great property just needs some work on the above items.

Not what we expected! The online pictures showed picturesque views of outdoor eating and Plaka. However, we arrived to a narrow street with nothing that remotely resembled the lead photo. We were told we could store our luggage at a nearby spot very easily - but it was 1 1/2 blocks away down narrow sidewalks and we had to bring luggage downstairs into basement and retrieve them the same way. It was exhausting. Once we arrived, we got key from lockbox and brought luggage into narrow entrance. We loaded 2 suitcases into the elevator and were yelled at by a Greek lady who said we needed to take the stairs. We had 6 suitcases! The keys we received had an attached card. Once the door was opened, the card was inserted to get electricity to the unit. With 4 adults, if anyone wanted to go outside, we lost power inside. We also had to preheat hot water for 35 minutes before showering. They left 4 coffee pods, sugar and some tea bags. That’s about it. The balcony overlooked nothing pleasant.

Fantastic 1st experience of Athens

We have just returned from a lovely 10 day holiday in Athens. It was our first trip to Athens and it was a great experience. It is a very vibrant, lively city with amazing historical monuments and museums. The food we had was delicious and the people were very friendly indeed. The apartment was perfect for us and we would love to use it again! It is spacious, very clean, and Spyros did everything he could to make us comfortable. The lounge is very attractive with lots of seating space and a big dining table. The kitchen is well equipped; the oven works well and there is even a kettle - very important for our English cups of tea!! The shower is very good and there were plenty of towels. The bedrooms are very comfortable and there are lots of coat hangers. There are long mirrors in each bedroom and a useful desk in the main bedroom. The Wi-Fi works well. The apartment is between Syntagma Square and Plaka, which is very characterful. There is some noise in the evenings from local bars and tavernas but this caused us no problems at all. Spyros respected our privacy but was always available on WhatsApp. He provided an excellent taxi transfer service to get us to and from the airport. Thank you Spyros! Happy Easter! Mark & Anne
