Sleeps 4\. Newly Renovated Apartment! Walk to downtown and stadium. A fully renovated apartment roosts above a 1902 home in the heart of the Historic Boulevard Neighborhood. This in-town apartment with beautiful garden on a 1/2 acre lot is the perfect home base for an Athens experience. The apartment has private stairway entrance and fully equipped urban kitchen. Free curbside parking on spacious street. New, hard pine floors throughout. Cable TV and wireless internet also provided. My family and I live below the apartment. We assume you'd like your privacy, but we are also very happy to help with advice and directions. Some of the bounty that awaits you by easy walk or very short ride: Thousand Faces coffee and Jittery Joe's Roasters, White Tiger BBQ and Heirloom cafe, Normaltown (featuring Automatic Pizza, Agua Linda, Normal Bar, Hi-Lo, Old Pal, Ike and Jane's cafe, and Marti's at Midday) and Bottleworks on Prince (featuring SeaBear Oyster Bar, Taqueria Del Sol, Hendershot's Coffee & Bar, Siri Thai, and Viva Argentine Cuisine). There was so much character to this place that you couldn’t, not enjoy your stay. With that- you have to remember the beauty when you walk through the apartment.. the floors are noisyyyyy. This would not have bothered me if my 6 month old wasn’t with us. That was the only downfall to this place, so just keep that in mind if you have little ones or light sleepers. The beds were comfortable(even the futon), it was clean and in a nice neighborhood. Although we did not meet in person, Kevin was a great host. He quickly replied to messages and provided a wealth of information on the area. The apartment is located in a beautiful neighborhood. It was quiet (except for the occasional train whistle), and very picturesque with mature trees and beautiful old homes. It is an easy twenty minute walk to downtown and a large variety of restaurants and bars. The unit itself is quaint and quirky. It was almost like visiting Grandma’s old house.
