Definite lack of electric outlets Bathroom on second floor.....steep stairs. Passage way to bedroom to bathroom was very close to steep stairs. Entrance to shower/tub was very high.

Cute little house
We traveled to Logan for a softball tournament. This house was less expensive than a hotel and had everything we needed. The check in process was simple and we had a great stay!

A Gem
We like stopping here when we visit Hocking Hills, it’s a simple House with close access to all dining , shopping and hiking trails and not far off route 33. Thank you for accommodating us.

This property has character, it was reasonable for the area, it had everything we needed. It was a unique stay. I have been to over 100 countries, this reminded me most of a place I stayed in Amsterdam. The only note I have is the only bathroom is up fairly steep stairs and this would not be appropriate for someone with mobility issues that would keep them from climbing stairs.

It was difficult to find since the porch light had burned out and we arrived after dark. The home is very old with outdated carpet and a very loud rumbling heating system. It sounded like a car dragging a muffler down the road every time it kicked on. The pictures didn’t show the only bathroom is upstairs in a small second bedroom. There weren’t any doors or curtains on the closets and a chunk of the bathroom door was missing. The bathtub caulking was rusty and there wasn’t soap for washing hands at the sink. Anytime someone walked around, the entire house shakes. All the extension cords coming from the outlets made me nervous about fire potential. I was really bummed for the price that we paid. I have rented places for years and this definitely was not what I was looking for.

Sweet House
The house was clean and property owner was the BEST with repsonding to our needs. Although the website says sleeps 4 it did not note that the 4th sleeping accomodation was an air mattress. The stairs were steep and the bathroom was on the second floor. I do not recommend this for older people who have some walking limits. One of our party had a very difficult time. Other then that we thought the house was sweet and again our host was the BEST!!!

Foxie Roxie is AWESOME!
If you want affordable vacation lodging that meets every need, book the Foxie Roxie. Super cute, quaint, cottage that is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Brought my family of four and dog. Saved money by cooking all our meals there, kitchen has all the tools you need. I just brought food and an electric skillet. AC units cooled down lower floor and master bedroom. Other bedroom was a little toasty and could use an AC unit too, but they had extra fans. Quiet neighborhood for taking my dog on daily walks. WiFi and streaming channels like HBO Max and Hulu. Super close to Hocking Hills Park, kayaking, horseback riding. Walmart, CVS, Kroger only 5 mins away. Excellent communication with host. I’ll definitely be booking with Foxie Roxie again! As for the previous negative comments… they are being overly critical. If you are high maintenance and snooty, book a fancy hotel or spa retreat! This place is fantastic for a family on a budget and is waaay better than rustic camping or those teeny weeny cabins. Top notch place and great service! Thank you, Ericka!
