The unit was clean and tidy and was exactly as described in the listing. I might not be the best person to judge how “chic” it is but for our purposes for our 6 night stay in Athens it served our needs very well. Antonia had stocked the fridge with lots of supplies like bread, ham, cheese, eggs, milk, fruit juice and water. She also had left fresh fruits, coffee, granola and a lovely bottle of wine which we enjoyed. The queen bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable but we didn’t use the twin beds in the second bedroom. We did a few loads of laundry in the small washer/drier that was there. The front panel was all in Greek but google helped us figure out how to operate it. There are a few challenges which are more indicative of the fact we aren’t in North America anymore, like the kitchen has a very compact footprint, much narrower dishwasher than we have at home, toilet paper gets disposed in a trash bin rather than down the toilet, you have to manually cycle the hot water heater a few minutes before you want to have a shower, there isn’t a kitchen table but rather a breakfast bar that seemed a little too high with stools that you have to be careful and deliberate to get up on, light switches that are mounted very low in the walls and living room couch and chair that seem very low to the floor but are quite comfortable. There are a few steps inside the front door of the building to get to the elevator, which has a certain old world charm of its own!

Antonia is the perfect host—attentive and responsive. This is a comfortable and spacious apartment. Tucked away from the street noise, it offers quiet bedrooms with thick mattresses and quality linen. The location is within minutes of the Metro and within easy walking distance of most must-see sites. Close at hand are restaurants galore for eating out and a grocery store for eating in. After a day out in the city, the apartment was the perfect place to come home to.

Apartment was so clean and host was very nice. Loved washer being in unit. The location cannot be beat when you are visiting the Acropolis. My party slept well and liked the beds. Our only wish is that there were more towels but I would stay here again.

Ideal location for exploring Athens, steps from the Acropolis (and the Acropolis metro station) with many cafes, restaurants and shops within strolling distance. Wonderful, responsive host, who shared all the necessary details about the property itself, as well as information about things to do around town. The space was perfect for our group of three, with room for more, if needed.

The location was perfect. Easy access to everything. Cleanliness of unit needed to be addressed. The bedding was dirty upon arrival and we had to change our sheets ourselves. We were thankful we were able to have additional sheets to do that with. The unit needs a deep clean. The host was very accommodating with arranging our transportation to and from airport. Again you couldn’t ask for a better location to stay.

Unfortunately during our first 24 hours, there was no power…no AC, no lights, no elevator, etc. for the entire block. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable and the host did what she could to facilitate the repair by the city the next day. Otherwise, the apartment was very comfortable and well located…minutes away from the Acropolis, the Plaka, and many great restaurants. We were able to spend 4 enjoyable days seeing the sights and walking in the area. The excellent host was always available for whatever help we needed.

This is the perfect spot to stay and appreciate the core of Athens. The host is extremely hospitable and very helpful in getting to and from the location. And once there, everything is immediately at hand, from the view of the acropolis to walking the streets and finding cafés and beautiful rooftop restaurants we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Athens because of this location and our host. Ideal location close to Acropolis and other historical sites

We had such a wonderful stay in this apartment. The host stayed in constant communication in the days leading up to Check-In and followed up with us to make sure we got into the apartment okay. Lots of great rest and shops just outside the front door of the complex. We easily walked to many historical sites and to the bus stop. The furnishings in the apartment were great and comfortable. There was enough room for the four of us to spread out. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in this apartment and would a stay again.
