Stayed four nights bed and breakfast - February 2020 - Room 12 - first floor.
The hotel is located on Monastiraki Square with our room facing the Acropolis. Room 12 is a "junior suite" with a seating area and picture window. Tea/coffee/water/soft drinks included. A fridge is provided - thankfully not a mini-bar.
Bathroom has a shower - toiletries provided.
Sheets were only changed after three nights.
Having a room overlooking the square/Acropolis appeared to be a good option. Unfortunately some idiots in the square play bongo drums until late in the evening - annoying.
The safe was not locking. I had to ask three people before someone bothered to attend and change the batteries. I was treated like a stupid foreigner who does not know how to set the lock.
Breakfast is served in the 6th floor rooftop bar, which has good views over the city. Breakfast is a buffet selection. Unfortunately the hot food was only lukewarm. The first time I mentioned this, I was ignored, in that the lady did not even bother to answer me. The second time I was told - "We are two fires down" - which I think was a reference to the heaters below the serving containers. I suggested that it is was unsafe to serve food like this and was told that it was not unsafe. I did not bother trying any hot food after that. If you cannot serve hot food, do not bother - eventually someone will get ill.
