A great hotel for a short stay in Athens. The rooms are basic but clean and modern and the pool area is nice, but busy! Breakfast was average, there was a lot of noise from the street, and our room key was reset once which meant we couldn’t enter our rooms when we wanted, so I wouldn’t class this hotel as luxury.

When we got there they tried to make us move to a different hotel for the night despite our reservation. They did offer some perks if we moved but were pretty pushy. They said there were no rooms. When we refused to give in, they gave us a room. We had reserved a room with one bed and they gave us one with two beds. We complained and they changed our room. So clearly they were lying and did have rooms.

Fantastic staff warm and helpful. Incredible breakfast with many choices. Wonderful expansive view from dining/roof area where pool is located. Excellent meals at roof dining room. The only negative is some of the area next to the Stanley is not great, making one feel uneasy. Google maps often brought one into these areas when walking to a destination. We did get used to it, and found traveling on certain roads, usually the main roads were best. The hotel grounds and immediate area with a large roundabout are nice with a nice restaurant coffee shops nearby. I would definitely stay at The Stanley again.

The Stanley is an amazing hotel with a rooftop restaurant, pool and lounge. The staff was very attentive and friendly. This will definitely be our first choice of hotels when we return Athens.

The staff provided great service. The room was a bit small me the shower was small, however that might be the norm. The gym and sauna were great. Lots of room me not too busy. The surrounding area had homeless and abandoned buildings. However the Acropolis was walking distance and easy to get to. An over ride from the airport was $40 euro and is about 30-50 min depending on traffic.

Nice hotel. The area around the hotel was completely fine and safe at all times despite the suburbs old reputation. Its completely safe and has changed. Rooms are big and clean. The rooftop was incredible! Stunning views of Athens and the Acropolis.

Such a great location for tourists, everything is within walking distant and if you didn’t want to walk to the metro station is right next to the hotel and everything was a few stops away!! Staff was friendly and room was always air conditioned and clean coming home from a long day of doing activities! Breakfast came with our room and it honestly had a little bit of everything for everyone, overall really good. Totally reccommend!

Had a great stay - 2 adults and 2 kids. We stayed 6 nights. Best greek salad at the roof top Restaurant - great roof top, Pool, bar and breakfast buffet. Only downside- slight distance from Main tourist areas- but about a 15 walk, So would walk. Area around is not in tourist area.
