"Such a peaceful, tranquil place. Kids entertained themselves with the endless activities, games, sports equipment. So close to the main beach with a safe lagoon metres away. Enough space for the whole family plus friends. Bird life, nature, sun and surf. Will definetly book again. No TV, wifi or social media made the weekend so much more family orientated"

"We had a lovely quiet stay, the unit was well presented and had everything we needed.... We were warmly welcomed. Thankyou for the plunger coffee. The motel is nicely landscaped with an outdoor pool to relax by. Close to eateries & a supermarket. Highly recommend & will stay again. 😊"

"Our stay at this property was fantastic. It was situated right on the beach but with plenty of privacy as it was on the corner on the small stream leading to the beach and the beach itself. A dairy/takeaway was a two minute walk with a eatery just over the stream at the Surf Rescue facility. The house was just lovely with absolutely stunning views of the beach and sunset. We had 12 of us on our holiday and there was plenty of seating, rooms and space to spread out. The window seat infront of a huge picture window was so lovely to just lay and enjoy the view.The beach was awesome, our kids ranged from 4 to 18 and they swam, built sand castles, played football and swam, and we could see them from the front lawn. The owner was brilliant to communicate with. Im sure I asked to many questions, but he was welcoming, friendly and and replied promptly. If we go back to Waihi, I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else, as this house gave us the best location on the beach, a clean house, close to everything you need.When you do stay, you must play the card game,TACCO, PIZZA,. It was absolutely hilarious Thankyou to the owners for sharing your piece of paradise "

"Very cute cottage, lovely and clean with comfortable beds. It was perfect for us. Really appreciated being able to bring our dog, but would note for other dog people that the fence only comes halfway to the ground so easily walked under onto neighbors property."

"A nice wee cabin with a great outlook onto paddocks with sheep & horses. Super comfy and warm bed. Put the heater on in the morning to warm the cabin. Edwin is a friendly host. He arranged the BBQ and gas, but we relaxed too much and didn't get to use it. Thank you."
